It's been my first time in Sri Lanka and I was looking for a good place to stay for over a week to explore the extraordinary wildlife, religion and local life, including driving a tuktuk. It's the place to go: you sleep in a green garden in sweet decorated bungalows equipped with all you need. Amila and team helping you with all your wishes: go Safari, get daily excursions like birdwatching or temple visits, nice food and drinks and relaxation time at the pool. Thank you for taking care of my wellbeing! I plan to come back!

Very nice hotel with a beautiful pool which is very welcome in the heat of south Sri Lanka. Had a very comfortable stay and we did the safari arranged with the hotel which was amazing. Highly recommend! Very friendly family who runs the hotel, food here is also delicious so definitely recommend to eat here at night too

Richard Cubanas sind ein absolut außergewöhnlicher Ort und wir empfehlen Ihnen, wenn man in den Jalan Nationalpark Safari machen möchte. Die Bungalows sind geräumig und extrem sauber und ordentlich der Chef und seine Mitarbeiter achten penibel auf alle kleinen Details und man fühlt sich rund um gut versorgt und pudelwohl Das Frühstück ist früher Verhältnisse hier im Land sehr sehr gut. Das Abendbrot wird frisch aus frischen Zutaten hergestellt und ist sehr sehr sehr lecker. Insgesamt eine absolute Empfehlung eine zwölf von zehn Punkten.

We had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel! The owner and his family were extremely kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The hotel offers free bicycles, which are perfect for exploring the charming nearby village. We also loved spending time by the pool—a great spot to relax and unwind. Additionally, there are several restaurants within walking distance, which is very convenient. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and relaxing environment!

Richard’s Cabana est tout simplement le meilleur hôtel que nous avons fait durant notre séjour. Un petit paradis végétal, le personnel était chaleureux, soucieux de nous servir au mieux, la chambre très confortable, une piscine propre et ombragée, un jardin paisible et joliment décoré, la nourriture du restaurant est excellente, l’hôte nous a même préparé un panier pour le petit dej lors du safari, offert de délicieux Smoothie à notre arrivée et une coco du jardin au bord de la piscine. Un service et une gentillesse vraiment incroyable, nous recommandons à 200% d’y séjourner !

Nos encantó el lugar, la piscina, la habitación y el personal que super amable. Nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos y nos organizaron el safary por Yala. También hacen comida muy buena en su cocina, nos encantó para pasar unos días de relax y naturaleza. Volveríamos sin duda al mismo sitio

We werden super vriendelijk ontvangen en voelden ons meteen thuis! Iedereen deed hier ook heel erg zijn best voor, niets was teveel gevraagd. We hadden een super leuk huisje met uitzicht op het groen. Het zwembad ligt aan de overkant van de straat, op minder dan 1 min stappen. We hebben via het hotel ook een safari naar Yala geboekt, was tot in de puntjes geregeld. We kregen ook een heerlijke ontbijtmand mee! Het eten ‘s avonds was ook super lekker. Wij kunnen dit hotel alleen maar aanraden!

Heel mooie accommodatie en het was voor ons de highlight van onze reis door Sri Lanka. Dit in combinatie met het Yala nationaal park wat echt een grote troef is. Mooi zwembad en mooie kamers met uitstekend eten zowel ontbijt als ‘s avonds, ik kan dit voor iedereen dan ook aanraden.

Kleinschalige accommodatie in het groen. Wij hadden de 2 kamers gelegen aan de zwembadzijde van de accommodatie die uit 2 delen bestaat. Geweldig zwembad, heerlijke eten en erg behulpzaam personeel. De safari werd voor ons geregeld evenals een boottocht in de avond op het nabijgelegen meer. We hebben genoten.
