Grandview Motel

It was a Great location, minutes from the ferry. Had nice views of the Ferry and water. Friendly service. The rooms were clean. Bathroom small but ok. Bed was uncomfortable. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it for a short stay, waiting for the ferry.

The staff need training in cultural sensitivity and customer service. They were extremely rude to guests of a certain demographic. It was really upsetting to see their attitude and behaviour. Will never be returning and I would never recommend this inn.

We stayed here for 1night while visiting a friend in the area and the bed and room was comfortable but the price was was way overpriced for a weekday. No coffee machine in room you had to hike all the way to the office outside to get ice or coffee. Not bad but except when pouring rain. No phone in room. Rate was $248/ night. Glad we only stayed 1 night. You had to drive to get food anywhere nearby and try to find a parking spot was almost impossible.

Just returned from staying 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this little gem!! Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff very friendly. Location is great offering a water view. Motel has several nice seating areas where you can bbq and eat, or just sit and enjoy the scenery. Location is across the water from the Ferry dock, but only a 15 minute walk to get there. We enjoyed being slightly away from the "main tourist area" and being able to watch the ferry come in and out several times a day. Plenty of parking right in front of your room, and coffee available at the Front Desk every day. No restaurant on site, but there are several only a 10-15 minute walk away. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we will be back!

Me and my friend stayed here for 3 nights in june. This place was AWESOME. Check in was super easy and quick. The staff is very friendly and answered all my questions. The rooms were so so nice and clean. There was a mini fridge and AC. Coffee and ice was available at the office 24hr. The are a lot of seating area outside to have a drink at night and look at the beautiful sunset. The best part of this hotel is the location. It is pretty close to every big attractions in the area, and also a walking distance to some shops, and restaurants. There is also a spot to lunch a kayak or paddle board right in front of the hotel. I would go back any time and recommended it to every body visiting Tobermory.

We stayed in room #20, and it had a lovely view from inside the room, plus a terrific deck with comfy patio furniture right outside. The bed was comfy - and the sheets were so soft! We slept well, and appreciated having a mini-fridge in-room.

Rooms clean. As expected. Beds comfortable. Several outdoor seating areas which was great for our group of 17. Stayed 1 night. Short walk to restaurants, shopping, marina. Would recommend and stay again.

Very clean rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Great location and nice seating areas with couches and tables. It is walking distance to the marina and shops/restaurants. Coffee and ice are available in the office. We had the room with a king bed and it was spacious. Fridges are also in the rooms. Will definitely return
