What an amazing experience we had at Borgo Petroro! From the moment we entered in the little hamlet we knew we were in for something special. The quiet location among olive trees makes it a good base to explore the region and the surrounding towns like Todi and Montefalco wineries. The room is beyond comfortable and sparkling clean. We enjoyed the facilities like the pool and the restaurant where we ate delicious food in the courtyard. Service is top notch! We especially loved the breakfast where local products are presented. Next time we are staying more than one night!

Beautiful place with a unique atmosphere and ambiance. This is what they call a castle, and the rooms are as they were and clean , rustic, amazingly decorated with old and authentic materials. Breakfast was very good minimalistic but plenty essential items.

Siamo stati in questo posto con 2 famiglie con bambini a seguito a cena. Borgo incantevole , location curata benissimo, voto 10. Personale gentile , voto 8. I consigli ricevuti dalla responsabile " del tavolo credo " non sono stati all'altezza, soprattutto quando abbiamo chiesto un calice di Sagrantino di una cantina e ne ha portata un'altra a detta sua superiore che a mio parere apparteneva ad una bottiglia aperta da tempo , voto 2. Abbiamo mangiato antipasto facendo un assagio di tutto , voto 7. I primi voto 8, il riso voto 9, i secondi di carne voto 5, agnello voto 4. Conto molto caro , di sicuro il posto merita ed anche tanto, ma la cena non è stata all'altezza del prezzo .

Staff was wonderful, attentive and kind. My daughter has food allergies and they worked with us to provide safe and delicious meals.
The rooms were excellent- clean, comfortable and quiet. We had an excellent experience here!

La struttura é un borgo medievale immerso nel verde, tutto in pietra viva, molto caratteristico e suggestivo. La junior suite Conte è all’ultimo piano, non molto grande (come le altre due junior suite), ma molto curata nei dettagli. Il personale é attento e presente per tutto il tempo del soggiorno, in reception e per le pulizie (ovviamente tranne la notte) Colazione eccezionale, in qualità e in quantità. La Locanda Petreja é il valore aggiunto, che permette di creare un soggiorno di coccole, relax … con un percorso enogastronomico unico di altissima qualità.

Wonderful experience in this historic old castle. We stayed three nights and we ate all three nights here. Creative menu, wonderful attentive service. Great wine selection. Really delicious food, fast service out of the kitchen. We had one of the suites and it was really quiet and comfortable. We also booked an hour of spa access and that was so relaxing and nice on a rainy, stormy afternoon. Gorgeous panoramic views from all sides.

We had a wonderful one night stay!! Our room was very clean and spacious, with everything we needed. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. We dined at the restaurant for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. The Castello is beautiful and intriguing. We could have stayed longer…..Thank you for a terrific night!
