APA Hotels in Tokyo

This hotel at Kuramae Kita does not have onsen or sauna whereas other APA hotels nearby has it, for example Ekimae and Kuramae. They are only a distance away (5-8 mins) In addition, this hotel is not near Sensoji temple (it was a 15 mins walk) so it’s nearer to Kuramae station (7 mins walk) instead of Asakusa Station. Nowhere near the station with 5 mins distance. The description is not accurate in the hotel’s details. I requested for a change of room but the concierge said there is no more available room for the next 2 days after checking their system for 1 minute. However, I can see that some rooms are unoccupied because not a lot of people used the lifts (they have 14 floors). The customer service isn’t really good. On top of that, the air conditioning in the room isn’t working. It is very humid in the room, when I called the front desk; they said the aircon is under heater mode and they can’t change the temperature so the room felt like 28 degrees. It’s even much cooler outside (11 degrees) and if you want to open the window, you had to someone to come up to open it for you. I requested for more hangers, the guy at the concierge asked me to go down to level 1 to collect instead of sending someone up to pass to me. Moreover, if you want to use the laundry services (coin usage), note that there are only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers so people had to queue up to use and you had no choice but to wash your clothes at 2-4am. The concierge staff will tell you to go to the next nearest washing machine which is 5 mins away (outside of the hotel) Even though there are other APA hotels nearby such as as Ekimae or Kuramae, you cannot use their services so be prepared that this hotel has no amenities for the price that you are paying for 6-7 nights for $1000. In addition, breakfast is not at this building, you have to walk to another APA hotel for breakfast instead. Also, the nearest 7-11 or family mart is at least 7 mins walk away. So there is no mini mart beside you. You have to cross the street to the nearest 7-11. I suggest you book other hotels for this price that you are paying as amenities don’t really add up to the price you are paying for.

Small room with everything that you need. I brought a large luggage so had to get creative with opening and packing and there’s enough space underneath the bed to store it when not in use. Location is good, right by the Narita Limousine bus stop, a 10mins walk away from train station. Take note that the area usually gets noisy by night and during my stay, there were ambulance/fire trucks sirens heard every night, though not for long periods so it was all right. Pleasant stay!

Fantastic hotel! The quality and cleanliness of the rooms are impressive – and that goes for the entire hotel chain, not just this particular building. The room has everything you need: towels and kimonos are changed daily and are always fresh. The bed is super comfortable, and the duvet is soft – I slept wonderfully, no disturbances, and quiet neighbors. There's a coin-operated washing machine on site, which is a real lifesaver. Another nice bonus: you can leave your luggage for free before check-in. I'll definitely stay here again!

Best choice I would say if you're gonna stay near Rippongi area , then this hotel would be perfect choice among others near the area. hotel has multiple building , staffs are , as usual you can expect from Japanese people, very kind and responsive .. breakfast menu is ok but too be honest , the space is too small comparing to the size of the hotel .. guess they need to expand or make one more space for breakfast .. room is not spacious but good enough to sleep unless you are over 190 cm tall .. so I have enjoyed my stays over there

Everything was great, except for the location of my room next to the housekeeping area in the corridor. Every morning there was noise and rustling outside my door. Overall, it wasn't bad, especially for those who prefer firm mattresses and pillows 😁. Housekeeping is done once every 3 days according to hotel policy, but fresh towels are provided every morning. The area is quiet, peaceful, clean, and cozy, with a subway line nearby. Sometimes you'll hear police sirens at night since the hotel is near a police station – but that's not a bad thing either, you're safe 😁

Avoid the breakfast. Don't waste your money. Take a room without breakfast and save yourself 25 Canadian dollars per day. Without question worst quality breakfast I have ever had anywhere in Japan in the 8 years I have been traveling in Japan. The restaurant is leased and it's quite evident that the owners cut costs wherever they can. If you like fat, carbohydrates, powdered juices, canned fruit cocktail, warm yogurt, sugary cereals, greasy deep fried food you'll be in heaven. Otherwise skip this place you can do so much better spending your $25 outside of this hotel. I won't get into the details of how management handled this situation but suffice it to say that my complaints basically fell on deaf ears because they believed the restaurant over what was very obvious. The only fresh fruit they offer are cut up orange slices and cut up grapefruit slices. The unsanitary uncooled yogurt bowl is just foul. Just think how many hands touch that ladle and the fact that it's not being kept cool is shocking. Why they don't have small individual containers and a fridge to store them in is beyond me. While the hotel is clean and the service from the front desk staff very very good the rooms are incredibly small even for Japan. I ordered a double room for a single person. It was supposed to be a full-sized double bed. Well I had to sleep diagonally and I'm 6 ft 1 in. The mattress was old and soft and I have had back pain every single day. Typically in Japan you'll find hard beds much better quality than these beds. I will say the Onsen on the second floor was very nice to have and use each morning and each evening after a long day. The water temperature is very hot so it's something you'll have to get used to. It seems tattoos are accepted in this Onsen because I saw several guys that had tattoos and they told me it wasn't an issue which is quite unusual once again for Japan. There is only cleaning of the room every 3 days but they do provide you fresh towels each day. The towels are hung on your door in a plastic bag. Check out is very early at 10:00 a.m. and they don't allow for any flexibility unless you pay about $20 per hour which is crazy. They do have storage facilities for your luggage during the day and the staff are very helpful. The location is poor. There are very few restaurants in the area and the ones that are are just not quality restaurants. I've stayed in Tokyo a dozen times and this was my least favorite location and least favorite hotel for a number of reasons but especially the room size. I can live with a small room but these rooms are so crowded you can't even move. I couldn't imagine having two people in the room. APA hotels are usually quite good and reasonably priced but the big fail here is the quality and size of the beds and the leased restaurant. The food is a big fail for APA Hotel standards but that's a consistency issue that needs to be addressed by top management between all their hotels. There's lots of better hotels in the same price range and better location bigger rooms better quality everything. It would be the last Hotel I'd return to in Tokyo.

A wonderful business hotel. The location is very convenient, right in the city center and close to the metro. The room is small, but clean and cozy. It has everything you need, including a yukata and all the toiletries. The bed is very comfortable. There's an onsen on the top floor for guests. It's small and pleasant.

The check-in procedure must be done by yourself at the machine. Must be stuck until the machine cannot continue Therefore to check-in with the staff And rarely speak English

The hotel is situated in a silent area, very nice for night walks. There are a lot of well-designed buildings, which are very nice to see and explore. The subway is quite convenient for a lot of Tokyo’s sights and locations.

Часто останавливалась в этом отеле. В этот раз попалась неудачная комната в которой постоянно перезапускался телевизор и роутер, постоянно пропадал интернет. В остальном все как всегда на высоте. Расположение, сервис, комната.
