The room itself was clean (like the floor, bedsheets, furniture etc), but the air conditioner was full of mold, so the air was kinda dense and because of my allergy, it was really difficult to sleep. The washroom was REALLY DIRTY; full of mold on the floor and walls and the vents were not working. Pretty disgusting. In my voucher it said that my room was on the 1st floor, but when I got there, the man said to go to the 3rd floor. As most of the apartments in Japan, the walls are thin, so you can hear people talking in the other rooms. But an earplug can help. The owner is Chinese and doesn’t speak either English nor Japanese, but still a really kind gentleman. The location is kinda okay, about 10min away from the convenience store and 15min from the train station (walking).

If you want to stay in a quiet place,here would satisfy you.Last year,I stay in Nerima for 2 months for healing,Nerima’s tranquility impressed me deeply.Tokyo is a noisy and messy city,but if you want to have another different experience,Nerima would be a nice place,although here doesn’t have any scenic spots.Back to this homestay,it’s not a hotel nor a hostel,it’s small even a little bit narrow,but you can feel peaceful and relieve yourself.

A homestay in Nerima, Tokyo, an ideal starting point for the Four Lies Holy Land Tour. Google Maps cannot navigate to the correct address, but Gaode Maps can navigate to the correct address normally. Because I didn't estimate the time well, I arrived at more than 10 o'clock in the morning (this caused trouble for the owner). However, the key code was told to me by email in advance, so I could check in by myself. The air conditioning is very powerful. Because I was sweating, my clothes were soaked. I washed them and hung them out. As a result, it rained at night and forgot to collect them. The owner was very considerate to help me collect my clothes. Because I was a special forces soldier traveling all the way, I went out at 5 am and came back at 10 pm. It was a pity that I didn't meet the owner, but the owner's son still carefully told me the precautions for checking out. What may have an impact is that this house seems to have no three-pin plugs, only two two-pin plugs, and they are not next to the bed. (Maybe I didn't notice it, after all, I ran away all the time) There is a very delicious restaurant nearby, strongly recommended I will choose to stay here again for the Holy Land Tour next year.

It is about 900 meters away from Nakamura Bridge subway station in Nerima District. There are two straight roads. There are many small restaurants on both sides of the small road out of the subway station. There is also a supermarket selling food and daily necessities, as well as a FamilyMart. The room is very small. In addition to the bed, a three-layer metal rack for clothes, and a desk, it can only accommodate one person. The bed seems to be 1.5 meters long and can sleep two people. The quilt is very thin. It was only 5 degrees on the night I arrived. Because the window had to pass the wifi line, there was a gap that was not closed tightly, and there was always cold wind coming in. The air conditioner was aging and there was no hot air. The next day, I asked the boss to add a quilt to the bed, and it was warm. It is also close to the main road. Because the road is paved with gravel and asphalt, it is very noisy. The next day, I bought a second-hand head-mounted noise-cancelling headset to solve the problem of sound interference. The corridor and the room are very clean. Because the corridor is high, you must change your shoes when you go up (there are shared slippers in the entrance). The boss comes to mop the corridor early every morning, which is very clean. The entrance hall also serves as a shared kitchen, which has a large refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, gas stove, kettle, water heater, vegetable sink, and wash basin. It is very convenient. I put breakfast and milk in the refrigerator every night and heat them in the microwave the next day. It is difficult to contact in advance. I can only send a text message in the system on the day of arrival to know the room. There is no one at the front desk, but when I went to open the door of the room, the boss's son came out in time and said: Slippers are optional, the bathroom is on the left and the toilet is on the right, and you can call him if you need anything. The boss also sent a plate of welcome candies the next day and chatted with me. He was quite easygoing.

I spent five days backpacking in Tokyo and stayed at a B&B run by a Shanghai uncle. It is located in Nerima District, Tokyo, a quiet and comfortable residential area. The surrounding area is quiet, slow-paced, and comfortable. The Shanghai uncle is polite and affable, and he has the same interest as me - collecting. The location of the B&B is a ten-minute walk from the subway station and has direct access to Ikebukuro. There are many restaurants just outside the subway station to meet everyone's dining needs. Considering the environment and transportation, I think it is more suitable for solo travel and backpacking.

This is a crazy customer's black store, this is a small inn with a high cost, and the number of times the customer has visited the restaurant has been closed. This Tokyo Kimi guest house is located in a remote location! The facilities inside are extremely poor, and a whopping 615 yuan/day (nearly 14,000 yen/day) is being charged! There's no toilet or TV! This is a crazy rip-off black store. Such a poor and high-priced small hotel really has no repeat customers and will soon go bankrupt!

This is a warm and lovely B&B with great value for money! Meeting a Shanghainese in a foreign country, the boss was very excited and insisted on keeping me for dinner. The Shanghainese boss actually has a hobby of collecting antiques. He opened a second-hand store downstairs in front of the B&B, filled with items from decades ago.

There were so many things to do that I forgot to give a good review~! The toilet and bathroom here are shared, but the items (?) are still very complete~ The bedroom is equipped with a TV and a kettle, and the bed is also very comfortable. The boss is very nice~

The room is not very good and too expensive

I didn't check in on the first day because of a delayed flight, which caused a lot of trouble to the boss. However, the boss was very nice, with considerate service and comprehensive facilities. He also gave me a special gift before leaving on the last day. Here, I feel like traveling alone. Very warm.
