Wuzhen Club House Reviews

It was our wedding anniversary so we wanted to have a cozy trip to a town we had not been to. Did some research and found Wuzhen and decided on Wuzhen Clubhouse.  We knew the pricing would be higher to be inside the visitor zone so it was mainly to take advantage of the location of the hotel. For the price, it is basic and aged. The room is exactly as you see in photos for the listing. Because the hotel  is in a historical building, there is no lift if you stay in a second floor unit.  With a stay inside the visitor area, you can normally have unlimited access to go in and out of the area, whereas if you stay outside then you are limited to the number of access. You can also remember to call and buggy to take you longer distances from the hotel and from certain spots; they just ask you to show proof of stay like your hotel key card. Otherwise you pay per ride at 10 RMB which is not cost efficient.  It’s quite humid and rainy for most of the year so since it’s stone and wood construction, it is vulnerable to be run down easily.  Since we visited in October, it was cool and slightly rainy but the temperature in the room was pleasant with the windows open or with the air conditioning on.  I imagine it could get quite hot in summer so this is something to keep in mind.  Breakfast is either in the hotel or you receive a voucher to a breakfast spot in the town. It’s a very full breakfast either Chinese style or western.  The staff are friendly and patient. This is the highlight of the hotel.  When you arrive in the visitor center, you can confirm your check in and your luggage is transported directly to your hotel. And when you depart, the same process in reverse is arranged for you.  We then called a Didi car to leave and the driver picked us up outside of the visitor Centre. You can take a regular yellow taxi in the line in the same area. The price is only slightly higher when you call a car but the car can be much nicer so I think it’s worth the 20 RMB extra to go to the high speed rail station (to go back to Shanghai).  As I said, the price is high for what you get at this location so do some homework and make sure you know what you are looking for.

Hotel room is very pretty, and it is well maintained. Thanks to Xiao Hua who is our main person in charge throughout our trip. They provide top notch services. Will definitely be back again if i go again. Thanks to the friendly team as well.

An absolutely delightful experience at Wuzhen Shinetown clubhouse. Staff were amazingly attentive and welcoming. I had just stayed at the JW Marriott in Shanghai and I can confidently say their service is superior. Clubhouse is located in a very central location in Wuzhen so access to everything was super convenient. The restaurant food was one of the other highlight of the stay. Even if you don’t stay I highly recommend you make a special trip to their restaurant.

Facilities: The facilities in the room are quite old, a little old, but overall it is good. Environment: Because the room is on the second floor, you can see some scenery outside, and it is not far from various attractions. Service: Xiao Tang was responsible for receiving us. The service was very warm and thoughtful. Before we came, the butler would arrange it in the group. He was waiting outside the scenic spot before we arrived. Thank you very much! A very satisfying stay, able to experience the day and night of Wuzhen. The B&B thoughtfully arranged for a butler to pick us up at the visitor center. The room was spacious and antique, and our family was very satisfied.

I really like the style of Shengting Hotel, the environment is very comfortable, and the bathroom is very considerate and cute, with a chair~ I especially like the attitude of the service staff, especially the introduction of the front desk lady, which is very professional! The housekeeper is also very enthusiastic, and I will choose Shengting again next time if I have the chance!

The hotel is located in the center of the scenic area, and it is very convenient to go anywhere. Although the facilities are a bit old, the service is good. The supplies are from L'Occitane, the breakfast is also delicious, and there is a one-to-one service from the butler, and they are responsive. I stayed at Shengting Hotel last weekend and had a very good experience. Since the telephone consultation, the housekeeper Linlin was very kind and considerate. She took the initiative to add WeChat, helped confirm the order, and arranged for the little brother to wait at the tourist center to take us in. Because there were 3 adults on this trip, an extra bed was needed. The hotel arranged two room types for us to choose if the room allowed. One is a suite with a large room area, but it will be a little noisy on the street. The other is a superior king-size bed room with a relatively small area but quiet. In the end, we chose the suite. Although there will be some human voice interference at night (the hotel reminded us), the overall stay was extremely comfortable. My mother even felt that she slept better than at home. I have been to Wuzhen many times before, and I have stayed in many hotels inside and outside. None of them can compare with Shengting in terms of service. In addition, there are obvious advantages in hardware. The hotel is located in the middle of the main road. It is convenient to go either way. A few meters from the door is the designated location for the drama festival carnival performance. It is very convenient to watch the performance. The design of the hotel is also in line with my aesthetic taste. The overall structure is an old house, and the room is antique and beautiful. And because it is not near the water, it will not be damp and cold. Once I stayed in other hotels, the quilt was damp... The hotel has several options for breakfast. We chose the morning tea guest (equivalent to the self-service of each morning tea stall in the floating market). It is so comfortable to have tea by the water. Finally, we wanted to go to Beizha before leaving. After Linlin learned about it, she arranged a brother to take us to Beizhakou by the best route. Although this trip to Wuzhen only lasted two days and one night, it was very successful and happy. I am especially grateful to the housekeeper Linlin and several brothers. I will only choose Shengting when I go to Wuzhen in the future.

When I came to Wuzhen Theater Festival, I specially chose this hotel in the middle of the main street. Whether I turned left or right, I had a high chance of encountering various performances and parades! And Zhou Wei also has a lot of delicious food! Environment: Although the hotel facade is along the street, the guest rooms are deep in the courtyard, quiet but warm. Service: The butler picked up and dropped off the whole way. Thanks to Xiao Chen's service, which was thoughtful, considerate and timely~

Location: The location is very good, right on the main street of Xizha. The room is relatively large, with a living room on the first floor and a bedroom on the second floor. The second floor has a small balcony. During the drama festival, you can see the parade from the window in the room. The pier is at the door, which is also the performance point of the drama festival. Service: Yaoyao housekeeper is enthusiastic, responsible and considerate. The little girl helped us drag two suitcases by herself and patiently answered any questions. The next day we moved to Tong'an, where the luggage could be transferred directly, which was more convenient throughout the journey. Facilities: The facilities are relatively traditional. Compared with Tong'an Inn, the equipment is not as modern and intelligent as Tong'an.

The environment is elegant and comfortable. The room is clean and tidy. The service attitude is excellent. The breakfast is exquisite and delicious (I have never experienced it in other hotels). Special thanks to Xuehua for the warm reception. The price of this stay on National Day 10.1 is a bit expensive. I am in a good mood for the stay. Next time I have a chance, I will definitely book a room in advance. I hope the price will be slightly more favorable😄

The service was very good. They would pick us up from the parking lot. The room was clean and tidy. The location of the hotel was very convenient. It was in the center of the scenic area and next to the bus stop. They also gave us souvenirs. I had a very happy trip to Wuzhen. The room was not near the water, but it was quiet and the view outside was beautiful.

I have visited Wuzhen many times. Although the scenery is good, the experience of Shengting Hotel is the pinnacle. This time, my family and I traveled together, with a young child. There were twelve pieces of luggage. Without thoughtful care, it would be difficult to travel smoothly. Yaoyao and Ruru were considerate. Ruru stayed at the tourist center and properly handled the luggage check-in. If not, how could we travel light? Yaoyao led us to the hotel and took the tour bus directly. Without this convenience, how could we travel smoothly? When checking in, the procedures were simple. Yaoyao's housekeeper quickly handled it without delay, and recommended the breakfast for the next day, and explained the attractions and cruises in detail. Shengting Hotel is located in the core of Xizha, with convenient access in all directions, and it is extremely convenient to visit. When traveling with a child, if you are tired or need to feed or change the towel, you can quickly return to the hotel to rest. Such convenience really increases the fun of sightseeing and makes you feel more comfortable. Four king-size rooms share a front hall. If you only book one room, you may need to share it with others, which is a bit cramped. However, this time we booked four rooms together and enjoyed the public area alone, just like a private house, private and quiet, doubling the elegance. Shengting Inn is considerate in its hospitality and exquisitely designed. It is located in a strategic location and convenient for sightseeing. It can be said to be an excellent place to stay in Wuzhen. If Tao Ling's joy of returning to the countryside could be found here, he would also sing and sing in it; if Wang Hui visited a friend on a snowy night, he would definitely feel that the host and the guest blended and felt at home. The scenery is picturesque and the people are warm. It is quiet to live here and happy to visit here. It is indeed a wonderful place in Wuzhen. Whether the whole family is traveling or just taking a rest at home, you can get the ultimate enjoyment here.
