Wuzhen Xianqing Yizhi Boutique B&B Reviews

we took a bus from shanghai pudong airport to jiaxing north station then just took a taxi via didi in alipay to get here. the homestay location was great since they were just beside the No. 2 Gate. For foreigners, we needed to get tickets and show our passports to the visitor center just around 100 meters away from the gate and hotel. from before our arrival all the way to check in, i was in touch with them already via wechat and the response was always very quick and helpful. we liked that the inn also had a free shuttle service on call for us and took us back and forth to dongzha (and old street beside it), as well as the bus station to get to suzhou. The uncle was also very helpful and friendly, ever ready to help us with our luggage all the way to the 3rd floor and to give us his recommendations on timings, directions and such. The younger family member in the front desk was also very helpful! They told us not to engage with the many people offering day trips outside just to be safe. They also lent us umbrellas for the rain and sun, and even band-aids. We would gladly stay at this B&B again but request a lower floor like the 2nd just because we usually go back mid-day and tend to forget stuff so the flights of stairs is something to consider if you're not up to the exercise. The room and toilet were very clean and good value for money! They were also very considerate as to putting all scents away upon my request. Just beside the B&B were small groceries, eateries and stores so we walked around also at night. For wuzhen, we did xizha only first next to the hotel from 4pm onwards for one day then dongzha ,old street (morning to afternoon) and xizha at night again the next day to save on the ticket costs.

Clean basic hotel next to Wuzhen Ancient Town Gate 2. Front desk staff helped with luggage to third floor as there is no lift. Staff also helpful with our Didi booking and waited with us for the car. Good location, many eateries around.

A cozy and comfortable homestay right next to Xizha entrance. The room is more spacious than in Shanghai, bigger bed and bathroom as well. You can eat delicious homemade lunch and dinner here with good price. The host can speak English and are very friendly. They even helped us check for bus ticket to Hangzhou and then drove us to the bus station. Highly recommend!!!

The room is big and clean. It is very close to the No. 2 entrance of Xizha Scenic Area. The hotel style and service attitude are also very good. When we checked out, each room also had a special aunt-sister cake for us. The little gift is very thoughtful.

The room is in a great location, very close to the entrance of Xizha Scenic Area, and only a few minutes' walk away. Most importantly, the owner was very welcoming. He drove us to the old street and gave each of us a local specialty. I will stay here again next time.

Facilities: The facilities are arranged normally, the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, and the overall feeling is quite good. Hygiene: Their hygiene is quite clean, and there is nothing dirty or moldy. Service: The service is really good. For suggestions on sightseeing here, or help with pick-up and drop-off within the ancient town, it is really great. Maybe other hotels also have this, but the feeling of chatting with their family is very sincere and attentive.

I took my child to the competition and travel at the same time. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic. She came to help with the luggage before entering the store. The service was really good. The room was big, the bed was big, and it was very close to the scenic spot. She also gave me sister-in-law cakes when I left the store. It was highly praised.

The room is very clean. It is just across a river from the south side of the Xizha Scenic Area. The most convenient thing about this hotel is that the secondary entrance and exit of the scenic area is next to the west side of the hotel, but you need to buy tickets in advance. My father did morning exercises in the scenic area early in the morning for free and sweated profusely. There is also a small supermarket opposite. In short, it is very convenient. We went to the scenic area at night. The entrance next door was only for exit (no entry after a little afternoon). The boss drove us to the main gate of the scenic area with great enthusiasm. The warm and meticulous service of the store will make you feel like visiting relatives. The first floor is their restaurant. I especially recommend their Dongpo pork. The children love it very much and their appetite is great. They booked four portions to take home that night. The price of the meal is also affordable. The B&B staff were super enthusiastic. When they saw our car arrive at the door, they all ran out to greet us, helped with the luggage and sent it to the room, and turned on the air conditioner in advance. They were very thoughtful. They also had a free car to take us to Nanzha. Nanzha is very photogenic and there are not many tourists. We enjoyed the slow-paced life without being disturbed. When we checked out, they gave us two boxes of sister-in-law biscuits, which was very heartwarming🥰
