Schöne Lage am Hafen. Der Service war eine Katastrophe. Unfreundlich und ablehnend. Wir wurden weder darauf hingewiesen, dass man erst ab 10 Euro mit Karte bezahlen kann, noch dass Trinkgeld nur in bar bezahlt werden kann. Als wir das bemängelten, wurden wir noch zurechtgewiesen. Da es hier genug andere Locations gibt, gehen wir nie wieder hierhin.

Ein tolles Wochenende in in einem netten Gasthof-Hotel in einer interessanten Stadt. Die Lage des Hauses am alten Hafen romantisch und doch zentral, das Haus selbst gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet (sogar ein Pool ist vorhanden), das Frühstück bietet tolle Qualität (mit Fischplatte etc.), aber der wahre Clou ist das Essen. Ich will es mal so formulieren: Hinter der Fassade eines landestypischen Gasthofes verbirgt sich ein Esstempel, der höchsten Ansprüchen genügt. Familie Peters bietet zu vernünftigen Preisen Gourmet-Genuss! Einfach toll!!! Wir werden den Weg zurück ganz sicher finden!

Wir kamen offensichtlich für diese Region etwas spät, dennoch bekamen wir auch um „21:00Uhr“ noch was zu essen 😂. Die Einrichtung war jetzt nicht spektakulär, allerdings war alles sauber und einladend. Die Bedienung war freundlich und nett, Bestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen, Getränke und Essen kamen sehr zügig. Das Essen war super lecker, frisch und ausreichend, also nicht zu wenig und nicht zu viel! Einzig die Getränke waren aus unserer Sicht „etwas“ teuer, allerdings ist das Essen mit absolut moderaten Preisen zu erwähnen. Alles in allem ein sehr nettes Restaurant mit freundlichem Service und lecker Essen - können wir durchaus empfehlen und ist jederzeit einen Besuch wert!

We visited here as we always hear about it & it has a very prominent location in Tönning - you cannot miss it! Anyway - we got seated. 2 of us had a Schnitzel with cream sauce & mushrooms and we asked for roasted potatoes instead of rice - not a problem. When the dish arrived - at was easy to spot that the mushrooms were not fresh, but came directly from the jar. Same for the cream sauce - straight out of the sauce powder package. Very disappointing for a well known restaurant. The 3rd member had a fish plate - with salmon, plaice & cod. Salmon was good as was the cod. The plaice was plain boring - normally a very nice tasting fish. Here no lemon - no salt etc. Had a dill sauce with the fish - sadly also here straight from the pre-fabricated sauce powder package. All in all - too pricy for the food you get and is clearly a classic tourist trap. Service was ok. The food was nothing special & there are several other locations to choose from in Tönning. Very annoying that they do not have a non smoking area outside!
