This is a really good courtyard. The front desk was courteous and friendly. Check in was a breeze. They accommodated my request for a first floor room. The room was clean and well maintained. The lighting was excellent in the room and bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were varied. Ice on the floor and coffee in the room was a plus. They only clean room upon request (we were there 4 days) unless requested, but supply extra amenities as well as clean towels upon request. There is no operational cafe due to Covid…but plenty of restaurants around nearby.

I stayed at the Endeavor Inn on my drive from Denver to Indianapolis and then again on the way home. It was a good choice of where to stay in Topeka. The rooms were similar. Double Queen Bed rooms, a microwave and mini fridge. A spacious and comfortable room. The first stay found the A/C struggling to keep the room comfortable. When I made the return reservation I mentioned this. The staff probably set the A/C to high before my second arrival. The room was nice and chilly. This made the return trip stay very nice. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. It could use some attention to worn areas inside, but nothing major. There is a nice patio area with the pool. I didn’t get a chance to check it out but it looked very comfortable outside my window. The staff was courteous and professional. Breakfast was served each morning. There are restaurants and service stations in the vicinity. The initial booking through an online service was about $20 cheaper than booking direct but even at the higher rate, it was affordable. With the cooler room on my return, I was very happy with the Endeavor Inn and highly recommend it.

Very nice employees. Room was large with separate sitting area. Beds were comfortable and premises clean. Only thing that wasn’t my fave was small bathroom with sink outside room. Breakfast was very good. Someone voiced concern that parking lot was dark and unsafe. It was extremely well lit and I felt as safe there as anywhere else. Shower had dispensers filled with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I’d stay here again.

Excellent
The best hotel in Topeka. Of course, that bar is not so high. Comfortable hotel, great beds. Downtown with a few places for a bite or a drink nearby - though downtown Topeka is slowly coming back - don't expect Las Vegas. Staff at hotel very helpful and friendly. We had two rooms for three nights. Only having the rooms cleaned on third day was of no use to us and we had to ask for fresh towels each day. They were delivered with a smile, but considering the rates for a place in Topeka, I think it could be a bit higher level of service. Weather Room restaurant has good reviews. Did not dine there. The breakfast as so-so and even though there was still time in the breakfast service period, staff clearly wanted us out (and other patrons) so they could prep for lunch. With 30 min left and a small buffet, it is not good to hear ”time will be tight” from the person seating us. Overall, a good place and will stay here again. For breakfast go south to Hanover Pancake House or north to the Coffee Bean.
GGuest UserWe stopped at this hotel on our way to Denver for night. The hotel seems older and the rooms definitely could use to some refreshing. The closet smelled musty, some black stuff was coming out of the faucet in the shower, and the a/c was super loud, going off and on all night. We always try and book a Fairfield Inn but this one we would pass on if it was more than just one night.
Let me start off by saying the good things first! check in staff was extremely nice and welcoming. She went above and beyond telling a story about Topeka to my children, and informing us about the hotel. We were told from the beginning that the hot tub was not working which was fine, we did use the pool instead. The rooms seem moderately clean and the bed was comfortable. However with all that being said I don’t think I would recommend this hotel for families the room was very cramped and the bathroom situation is not ideal, the shower was built into a rounded pillar (think turret) my 5 year old slipped on the rounded portion while trying to wash her hair and the bathroom vanity being on the outside of the bathroom made it difficult to get up and get ready without waking everyone up, also the toilet ran very loudly. The walls were thin so you could hear everything. My biggest complaint might be that there seems to be a musty smell lingering in the hotel, I’m not sure what it is due to however it didn’t affect the cleanliness but it did linger. Over all it’s not a bad place to stop for one night or even for 1-2 people but for a family of 3-4 specifically with young children I wouldn’t recommend it.
GGuest UserWe stayed on February 3 with our dance team and I accidentally left my charging station for my iphone and iwatch in the room when I left Saturday. I called Saturday evening when I realized I had left it. Spoke to the man working the front desk, he assured me he would make sure to get in touch with housekeeping first thing in the morning, because we still had team members there that could bring it back when they left Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon I still hadn't heard anything, so I called again. This time I had to leave a message with housekeeping. I left a couple different messages and none of them were ever returned. I called again today (1 week later) told the girl at the front desk that I had called a few times about this and had never gotten an answer or a call back. She said ”well it was never turned in.” When I asked why my messages were never returned, she didn't respond at all. I have no doubt someone kept it for themselves, whatever I'm the one who left it, my fault. But the fact that not a single message was ever returned is extremely frustrating. Had it not been for this incident, I would have given them a 4 star rating. The room was nice, the check in staff on the night of February 3 was fantastic. But this has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I won't stay here again.
HHeather LI arrived by train extremely early in the morning, and staff were kind enough to help me store my bags behind the desk before check-in. The common areas are large and clean, as was my room. I had to leave before breakfast, however, it is included. Although only a five minute walk from the Amtrak train, everything else is a decent (walking) distance away (although that seems typical for Topeka). The hotel itself is massive, which gives it the feeling of being mostly empty. As a solo female traveler I was a little creeped out by the isolation. The hotel had the usual wear and tear, but nothing dramatic. This is overall what I expect from a budget hotel, so I have few complaints.
