Samara Hotel Bodrum

We stayed at hotel for 10 days and the whole experience is been lovely! The rooms were very clean and the hotel definitely looks better than in the photos, it was a nice surprise to see that! Staff were always helping and trying to assist everyone, except the reception team, some of the members couldn’t really speak any English, which we found a bit surprising, but it wasn’t a big of a problem. The food was really good and tasty but sometimes a bit repetitive but that’s understandable since it is a buffet. What was a bit annoying is that some evenings it was very packed and people were just skipping the queue when getting food. The animation activities were lovely and there’s was something to please everyone, from volleyball to dart games. Every evening different shows were on which made it very interesting. A big thanks to Seyfi (one of the animators) for making us feel welcome and checking on us every day to ensure that we are enjoying our stay to the fullest! The only thing that would have made the experience even better was the location; the hotel is very secluded from everything so we always had to take taxis to go town, in the evenings it can get a bit boring since there’s nowhere to go for a walk near the beach which makes you very stagnant. Overall I highly recommend this hotel, it’s definitely been a lovely experience and surprised by so many staff members that have definitely been super super nice and professional!
Olivia Hotel

I recently stayed at Olivia Hotel for 5 nights on a family holiday, and before we came we were impressed by the pictures of the hotel and looked forward to staying there. Unfortunately, this is a hotel that looks better in pictures than what it really is. Firstly, despite the hotel being refurbished in 2021, a lot of it is still unfinished and what has been done is not to a high standard. This includes the outdoor seating areas where the seating either looked worn or dirty, or non-existent like the terrace (which was still under construction) and the rooms had poor quality or unfinished furnishings. Unfortunately, it seems as though people are allowed to smoke in the rooms in this hotel and there's no separation between smoking and non-smoking rooms as my room had a smell of cigarette smoke when I first checked in. The two duvets which were provided in the cupboard also stunk of cigarette smoke at first. The shower was also in a poor state. Despite it being a new rain shower, the one we were provided with simply wasn't fitted correctly, and at one point the shower head fell off while in use! The bed was not the comfiest either. In our area of the hotel, the WiFi was very weak as the modems are located in the corridors. Since our room was located outside of the main area where there wasn't a modem, it didn't reach there. The hotel is very easy to miss when you're driving to it as there's no clear signs for it on the main road, and the road leading to the hotel is very narrow and unmade. The car park is also unmade and you'd be very lucky to not get a puncture by parking on it! During our stay, the pool was also closed, and due to reopen a week or two after we left but looked like it hadn't been used in months and nothing had been done to it. Breakfast is included, but there are no options despite there being a breakfast menu available in the room. Each guest is given the same continental breakfast, which can be seen in the pictures attached which does get very boring if you stay for longer than two nights. The restaurant staff also speak very poor English so it's difficult to ask for what you want. We were also told to help ourselves to drinks from the fridge on our first morning, thinking they were free but a few days later we were asked by one of the restaurant staff how many drinks we took and we were later charged for them! There is also very little to do in Torba itself, with it being a quiet village. Admittedly, we did visit before the tourist season was in full swing, but if you're looking for a beach nearby or anything to do, consider other areas around Bodrum. There were positives. The receptionist who seemed to be running the hotel was very friendly and helpful when it came to most of our issues, such as providing us with a WiFi booster and helping my dad change his room (which is why I've given this review three stars rather than two). Overall though, it wasn't a pleasant stay and the hotel definitely needs improvement. It mig
Rixos Premium Bodrum

I am writing to formally express my appreciation for the exceptional experience I recently enjoyed at Rixos Premium Bodrum in Turkey. My stay was marked by several noteworthy aspects: 1) The culinary offerings were truly exceptional, boasting a diverse array of delectable options available throughout the day. 2) I had the privilege of staying in one of the newly renovated rooms, which featured modern decor and offered breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings. 3) The private beach, a veritable gem, left a lasting impression with its stunning beauty and the added convenience of bar service facilitated through QR codes. 4) The attentive and proficient staff, proficient in English, contributed significantly to the overall enjoyment of my stay. 5) While my experience was overwhelmingly positive, it is worth noting that the entertainment options, particularly the availability of live music, could benefit from improvement, as the only available entertainment occurred at 9:30 PM. In summation, I am delighted with my stay at Rixos Premium Bodrum and have every intention of returning in the future. The exceptional food, the newly renovated rooms, the captivating private beach, and the attentive staff all combined to make my stay truly memorable.
Selectum Luxury Door’a Bodrum

Recently stayed as a couple for our 10th wedding annivesary, I try to be as factual and honest with all reviews and this will be no different. Location: located around 30 minutes from Bodrum airport and about the same from Bodrum town, it’s ideal if you want out of the way but close enough to be able to visit the town. Located on a main road and built into a hillside the hotel offers some stunning views where ever you are located in the hotel. Be advised this hotel is very hilly and steep, however for guests with limited mobility there are lifts to all levels including from the hotel to the beach. Room: We were allocated room 202 in the main building, we payed for a sea view and got exactly that. The room itself was very spacious with ample storage space, a safe and minibar which we did not use, the room was nicely presented and the bed was super comfortable and was at least a superking sized bed, I found the pillows a little to hard but I’m sure they would provide softer pillows if requested, I was sensible and took one of my own from home. The shower was powerful and hot water was always running. The only thing I can fault the room for was the balcony was not covered, not a problem if the sun is shining but we did have 1 day of rain so was unable to sit out on the balcony. The air conditioning in the room was great and worked well. Pool: the main pool is huge and has music playing during the day with lots of activities going on, provided by the entertainment staff, they do come round and invite you to join in but if you say No they leave you alone to relax, activities include Yoga, water gym, pool games, darts, water polo and the mandatory club dance you get at every Turkish hotel. The pool I don’t believe is heated but is ok when you get in the water and great respite from the blazing Turkish sunshine. Food and Drink: There is a massive choice of food and drink available at all times during the day, ranging, from breakfast lunch and dinner to snack bars and a patisserie and onsite Starbucks coffee. Unfortunately the food is very hit and miss, breakfast consisted of ready mate omlettes which were often cold as they cook so many at a time, spicy sausage fried eggs that were never properly cooked( I must add they would cook fresh eggs to your liking on request) and a range of foods aimed at Eastern European guests, like ham cheese and salads. There was a small choice of cereals and a toaster if you wanted it with jams chocolate and delicious honey straight from the honeycomb. Lunch consisted of soups stews and chicken or fish. There was always a fresh salad which was actually very nice with a selection of dressings. For dinner there was a choice of fish chicken or beef and had a bbq section outside separate from the main dining hall, apart from breakfast it was literally a free for all with people pushing in front and not caring about queues or the fact you may have been waiting in line for 10 minutes plus, I have stayed in many Tur
