Excellent location close to the town centre yet away from any noise. A comfy warm room and a good bed. Excellent accommodating host and a superb breakfast using only top quality ingredients. A delight to stay here and we can highly recommend it.

Très bel hôtel et accueil très sympathique. Les chambres sont propres décorées avec goût, très propres. Andrew le gérant est d’une gentillesse irréprochable. Idéalement situé à 10mn à pied du centre ville. Il y a un parking gratuit juste devant l’hôtel. Je recommande sans hésitation

From pulling into the drive just had a good feeling about this guest house a beautiful building and areas outside to include the view. Andrew was absolutely delightful made to feel extremely welcome. The art work gallery was brilliant got my youngest imagination going. Rooms were 5star beautiful set out and decorated and the bed was like heaven sleeping on. Cleaners were absolutely on point didn’t miss anything. Don’t know we’re to start on breakfast but will go with the bacon oh my how delicious 😋 the scrambled egg was mouthwatering good a great breakfast menu to choice from kids had fun with the childrens section. Can’t thank you enough for the best week away from home ferndale lodge for the most amazing week. Hope to stay again soon
