We were given a very warm welcome to Vomero where we’ve spent a wonderful and very comfortable few days. Louise and Sean are the ultimate hosts and have created the perfect environment for a relaxed getaway. The apartment was so beautifully furnished where quality and attention to detail are key. It’s fully equipped with everything you could need. The gardens and views to the sea are stunning. If you want to venture out, there’s a great variety of restaurants and bars just a short walk away. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area too. We’ll certainly be back, thank you!

I had the pleasure of spending 12 nights at Vermero,. The building is spectacular as is the location, so quiet and peaceful. I had a car but you could walk down into town if you wished. Louise and Sean were the perfect hosts, available if needed but otherwise we were left to our own devices. The 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for my Father and I. It was truly a home away from home. It was well equipped, warm and had a beautiful view. I can’t recommend Vermero enough for your Devon holiday. Thanks again for everything Louise and Sean.

Had a wonderful time. The apartment had everything we could wish for. The views from our apartment were outstanding. We had a fantastic reception from the owners on arrival. Would recommend this as a base. Town is not far away (Downhill) and it would be unfair of me not to mention the walk back, steep in places. We would certainly consider going back Thank you to Sean and Louise

A beautiful old house which the hosts have made into a very comfortable, elegant set of apartments. We stayed in the penthouse - well appointed and everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, quite apart from the amazing views. Sean and Louise were available if required and indeed when I left an item of jewellery behind, it was very quickly securely mailed on to me. A place to go back to, just lovely!

The location is great, a quiet road a 10 minute walk into Torquay. It is on a steep hill. The apartment building is lovely and spotlessly clean. It was very quiet in our apartment, we didn't hear neighbours. There was always a parking spot available. The apartment is very comfortable, with 2 bathrooms which was very useful for the 4 of us. The kitchen is small but we'll equipped. We liked the open plan lounge / kitchen design with a good size dining table. Lots to do in the area, whatever the weather. Some lovely beaches too, especially around the nearby Babacombe area, just check the tides!

Beautiful building with gorgeous view. Comfortable clean apartment with all the equipment you could need. Lovey friendly hosts who have lots of information on places to visit, places to eat etc. Nice to be contacted prior to the visit with suggested directions, even though it was a last minute booking. Contacted via text to check we were comfortable, quick response when we had a slight problem. Easy to access train, bus and ferry from the harbour. A quiet relaxing break Definitely recommend a stay at Volmero

This is the second time my wife and I have been to this fabulous hotel we have just came home we did not want to leave it is in a very quiet part of Torquay and it is one of the only places that I can say that it's the most relaxing holidays we have had..

We loved our time at Vomero staying in the same named apartment. Incredible views from the curved panoramic balcony and original sash windows. We've stayed several times and Louise and Sean's attention to detail and friendliness never fails to impress. This visit our room had the addition of a beautiful 4 poster bed complete with a new super comfy mattress. (an excellent night's sleep 😴) The Vomero is a short but steep downhill walk to the many great eating places within the harbour area. We will be returning to our little piece of relaxing heaven.
