Then they ask you for your credit card when you arrive from where you get charged the money from the deposit you have to be very careful that if you don't ask for it back they don't give you the money from the deposit. Then when I made the reservation on the App he wrote that breakfast costs €10 while in the hotel they ask you for €15!  As for the beds, they don't have double beds but only two beds pushed together. The floors of the rooms are a bit ruined and obviously the whole hotel needs a lot of maintenance. The location is also very nice because I have a sea view room which in theory is 25 m², it has 25 m² because the corridor from the door to the room is long

Very old school hotel (Bit dated) Yeah! needs a face lift. But location wise was superb. Right in the centre and just walking distance from Torremolinos Train Station. Beautiful views from the top floor overlooking the Mediterranean Ocean. The room was small and bed was awful. Staffs were very friendly. Not recommended.

The staff was extremely accommodating and let us check in 3 hours early with no extra charge!
The breakfast was great and sufficient. The location of the hotel is in the center of town, about 15 minutes walk to the beach. It was also very clean, the only criticism was the defective air conditioning and that the remote control for the TV was missing, but hey, who cares about watching TV on vacation, we didn't complain about it at the reception, otherwise it would certainly have been fixed immediately been. Definitely recommend again anytime!!!

Having never stayed at a 2 star hotel before, and nearly always going 5 star, I was expecting much worse, however this hotel was actually pretty good. The rooms may have been basic, but them, along with the rest of the hotel is very clean. Also, the staff are good, and very accommodating. The beds are not the comfiest and the Wifi is very bad however for the price and location, I think the hotel is probably a good option for many people, particularly those searching for a kosher hotel.

Bathroom quite small but the rest is fine.
The prices for hotel services are affordable.
On the other hand, I would like to emphasize that the blacks are not fairground animals, the incessant stares of the customers made us feel uncomfortable, which is a great shame for the hotel and SPAIN.

Spent only 1 night but was impressed how the hotel has improved since my first visit. I first stayed a few days after it opened March 2022 and then there was a lot of snagging issues. My only issue was the lack of English speaking channels on the TV.

Great welcome on my arrival,very comprehensive explanations as to where everything was and how to access things.I know people have complained about depositS for this that and the other-GET OVER IT.Ive stayed in higher end hotel who do the same. Eva ,Arthur and Fernando at Reception where excellent throughout my visit.I ate quite a bit at the hotel and I found the food good and the pleasantness and efficiency of all staff without exception to be wonderful. I asked for a room change on day two,as there was quite a loud group next to my original room and it was sorted immediately. The spa has all you could want also,and again a very pleasant guy takes care of things there. Finally,the room,again its got all you need.I had beautiful sea view,lovely dark wood floors,great shower and amenities aswell as wonderful Housekeeping. This hotel is mainly geared for LGBTQ client and as a member of that community I can recommend this hotel to you-Its great. Well done to everyone involved I'm making my first trip to Torremolinos so memorable and wonderful. John P Murphy xx

MMeldoll1When writing a review, as much as you would like to write only about the positives, one has to be honest with the readers, and provide as much info as possible, even if it includes the occasional negative. We searched the internet and various travel sites and decided to look into Torremolinos, Spain. We came across a resort, hosting 3 hotels. Two being more family orientated and one adult only. Making our reservation with BRIAN directly at their head office in Barcelona, we chose the adult only hotel, Don Marco. When Brian asked if we’d like two single beds or one king, of course we opted for one king. I mentioned we were coming for my Husband’s birthday. Immediately he said they would put a bottle of champagne in the room. That was so nice… I asked numerous questions before supplying our credit card details. I asked about meals and should our friends join us and stay in one of the other hotels on the resort, if they could come to Don Marco. Without hesitation, Brian said YES. Because we chose the half board option and were staying in the more expensive hotel, we could either eat at Don Marco or either of the other two hotels, per Brian. Check in was nice and smooth, though we had to wait 2 hours for our room to be cleaned. That was okay, as it gave us the opportunity to wander around the area. As we entered our room, there were 2 single beds and no kindness of a champagne bottle. I asked to see customer services, and was met by ANNIE. She was great and highly efficient. She was all smiles and offered her assistance. She organized for housekeeping to put something like an additional mattress on the bed, making it as if one bed and not two singles. Furthermore, she kindly organized for that bottle of champagne to be delivered. Kudos to Annie. Our room was basic, though modern. There was a fridge, no microwave, but a kettle to make your teas and coffee that were supplied. The house cleaner kept the washroom nice and clean. As mentioned, we opted for the adult only hotel, the more expensive option. When we asked where exactly the dining room was, the receptionist promptly said we had to go to the Don Pablo or Don Pedro. That was bizarre as Brian told us we would have a dining room there. This was so NOT the case. We landed up eating our meals at Don Pablo. The swimming pool was lovely, except when they say ADULTS ONLY, it should be just that. A few of us complained to reception as there were children, boys who were jumping in, and various other young kids splashing around. We paid for this expensive adult only option adult to have quiet time, sun bathe in peace. This was NOT as expected for a few days. Furthermore, it was stifling hot and NO water machines to have a drink of water. The Don Pedro had a bar with a water machine, yet, the expensive Don Marco had none. The Don Pedro and Don Pablo had bars to order a drink from, the expensive Don Marco does NOT. The owners or management should consider putting a cold water dispense

This hotel is quite basic. There are several things that could do with improving. Firstly the lifts are small and slow. Getting a sunbed is difficult unless you que at the door to the pool at 10am and either get one or lay your towel down which is what most people tend to do. For the size of the hotel there are not enough sunbeds and the area is badly designed. No tables between beds to put anything on. The pool bar did not open till 1pm. The hotel bar had a stag party in on Friday night who made a complete noisy racket for over an hour getting louder and louder till the other guests in the bar could not hear themselves or partners speaking. No one asked the group of twenty men to be considerate of other guest's experience and be a bit quieter. The rooms are furnished with basic coarse bedcovers which had several black hairs on them. The brunch provided was cold on many hot dishes like potatoes, chips and eggs. Fried eggs were often over cooked. The orange juice did not appear fresh and was like Sunny Delight. If you are looking for a base with no frills it's location might appeal.

GGuest UserJust got back from the most amazing holiday as a family of 9 in 3 rooms the hotel staff can not do enough for you and the entertainment staff go above and beyond our 10 year old twins have not stopped.. It's central to everything and the water park and selwo marina is a must.we only got back today and are already looking at booking next year. Never have we been so sad to leave somewhere 7days is not enough thank you for memory's that will last a life time.

We were there for 10 nights and had an amazing holiday. Pool view room on 7th floor. Fantastic view. Room was large and comfortable and sound proof. Great Air conditioning. Fridge in Room with lovely welcome pack. Slightly dated furniture but very clean. Cleaners in every day. Beds lovely and comfortable. Quick easy check in. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice but could be warmer. Lovely clean pool. Try to get sunbeds early as people leave towels on. Amazing rooftop bar for evening drinks with spectacular view. Alll staff were lovely and very helpful. There were 2 in particular. FRANK the entertainment guy and ELLIOT who serves drinks and food round the pool. They made our stay extra special. So friendly and we had great laughs with them. You won't be bored with Frank around and you'll make a friend for life with Elliot. We loved you guys. We would highly recommend La Barracuda and are booking for next year. Hope to see Frank and Elliot still there ☺️

Currently staying at the Sol principe with my partner and what a beautiful hotel & STUNNING location! Staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a good stay. One of our favourite hotels that we have stayed at. The location is beautiful, beach is literally across the road and the beach bars are beautiful. We are half board and there is such a different variety of food each night. Perfect for families, couple etc.. Thank you so much for an amazing stay so far!!

There is only one good thing about this hotel and that is the closeness to the beach, everything else is terrible. Food terrible, we were half board but went out every night for food as the food was flavourless and not much choice especially for children. Entertainment there's wasn't any or if there was it was just music playing but the same music everyday Says online children Entertainment we took our little girl and there was no children Entertainment Games room, where? If they think a pool table is a games room The pool is very unsafe for children, very slippery and frezzing. We tried using the pool once and it was so unsafe and cold we just went to the beach everyday The atmosphere was non existence, more like a grumpy old age people home, we were told it was a family hotel. I think there was 3 children here the whole time we were there. The balcony doors never locked, which with a small child is very unsafe The staff were rude, the man on reception was nice but other staff were not Torremolinos it's self is lovely and would do back but to belimindina, where this hotel is located I feel its far out for the nice part of torremolinos and the walk is not pram friendly or if you have mobility issues. This part of Torremolinos where the hotel is located is quiet and feel like it wasn't much to do. The beach made our holiday enjoyable and the Irish bar down the road. Also if you do decide to stay at this hotel the bus drops us off at the road about about 200m from hotel then you have to walk to the hotel. This is not on the booking we found out when we got there. Overall just don't book this hotel if you want a good holiday

GGuest UserGreat lil hostel! We booked last minute as our plans suddenly changed, it was very cheap and accommodating. Our room was cleaned with fresh towels every two days. We stayed for about 2 weeks overall and were very thankful of the air conditioning in the room! We briefly met the manager who always seemed pleasant and the cleaning staff were all very polite too. I really enjoyed reading my book on the rooftop seating area they have. Not the Ritz but great if you’re travelling on a budget. (A little fridge to store food somewhere would be a great addition though🙂)
