Tortuguero is such a cute town! We weren’t sure we wanted to make the drive but we loved it. The boat ride from La Pavona is beautiful and the town is great for walking around and shopping. We took a guided night hike and saw a turtle laying eggs on the beach! The staff were very nice and helpful and the air conditioning in the rooms was nice. Only stayed one night but loved it!

Atención impecable por parte de todo el personal, las instalaciones super limpias y muy cómodas muy cerca de la playa para ir a caminar y despejarse. La comida muy rica la verdad. Lugar q recomendaría sin dudarlo y volveríamos nuevamente. Muy cerca de el centro pero a la vez alejado de la bulla qué puede ocasionar tantas personas

The hotel is next to the beach and not to far from the town center. They take really good care of you, if you book online there is someone waiting at La Pavona (the place you get on the boat to Tortuguero). They tell you how to get the boat and tell you about the tours and can book the tours with them. If you arrive at het docks in Tortuguero the is another person waiting for you to take you to het hotel. The hotel itself has friendly staff and the rooms are clean and if you stay for more days they clean your rooms and fold the new towels really nice. The tours were amazing, we had a tour with over 20 years of experience and we saw so much!

Heerlijk verblijf met super vriendelijke mensen, alles wordt fijn voor je geregeld en je zit op de beste locatie van Tortuguero. Je zit dichtbij de zee, vlakbij de jaguar trail en niet te dicht op het centrum. Wij vonden dit heel erg prettig. Ook het personeel is heel vriendelijk, ze helpen met alles en zorgen goed voor je. Van heerlijke fruitsapjes tot de casado met kip, echt alles was om je vingers bij af te likken. De kamers zijn precies wat je nodig hebt, niks speciaals maar wij hadden niet meer nodig dan dat er was. Wij zouden zeker terugkeren hier! Onze tip is om om hun website te kijken en de tours etc in 1 keer te boeken met een pakket.

Super accueil, personnel sympathique et aux petits soins, bonne humeur garantie ! Hôtel propre et très calme. Idéalement situé en face de la mer, et permet de rejoindre rapidement l'artère centrale de la petite ville. Chambre sobre et fonctionnelle. Restaurant ouvert pour le petit déjeuner et le dîner jusqu'à 20h. Dispose d'une petite piscine pour se rafraîchir. Joli jardin intérieur. Serviettes et savon dans la salle de bain, pas de shampoing, donc à prévoir. Très bon rapport qualité-prix.

Cet hôtel a été notre moins bon choix au Costa Rica. Nous avions réservé et payé pour une chambre à 3 personnes car elles étaient plus grandes et mieux équipées. Mais, comme nous étions en couple, le patron nous a donné une toute petite chambre. Heureusement que nous avons pu discuter avec la réceptionniste qui nous a organisé un changement de chambre. Quand j’en ai parlé avec le patron par la suite, il s’est braqué sur son téléphone pour me montrer qu’il ne voyait pas que nous avions réservé une grande chambre. Il faut qu’il apprenne à utiliser son ordinateur pour voir toutes les informations liées à une réservation. La piscine est minuscule et les repas sont très répétitifs (choix très limités). Seul point positif : la situation en bordure d’océan. Pour avoir discuté avec d’autres voyageurs, il y a de meilleurs choix possibles à Torturgero.
