Le Grand Balcon Hotel Reviews

Brilliant stay at Le Grand Balcon - only reason I knocked it down to 4* (and in reality it was more 4.8) was the state of the carpet in the room. Looked like it has been piecemealed together, had what looked like blood near the bed, and needed another hoover. Other than that, facilities were excellent, staff were super friendly and it’s in SUCH a good location. Carpet wouldn’t stop me staying there again, that’s for sure!

We stayed one night for my husband's birthday. Short but pleasant with good bedding service, tea/coffee in the room. A few hairs in the bathtub when I arrived but nothing to say about the rest of the hotel. Average soundproofing but old building so not a problem more than that. Very good stay.

Location on the Place du Capitole close to all shops. Welcome And more than friendly service! Coffee and cookies offered throughout the stay!

Well located hotel, friendly staff, very good breakfast! On the other hand, aging hotel: peeling wallpaper, moldy bathroom joints, scratched bathtub enamel, stain on carpet, toilet brush... it says room and bathroom of 20m2 this is not the case, disappointed with the view of the backyard at the price of the rooms

The location is excellent, the balcony room has a view of the town square, and the architecture is also very nice. The breakfast is less than 20 euros, which is a bit expensive. There is a McDonald's nearby, and there are also breakfast stalls and vegetable vendors in the square. It is close to everything, and Toulouse is very leisurely.

The location is very good. There is a Christmas market right at the doorstep of the town square. The soundproofing is also very good, and you can't hear any noise from the street.

Our room was very nice, except for the high bathtub. The breakfast was good, but there are only seats in the bar or next to the reception, which makes it very noisy. Very helpful and friendly staff

The most surprising room during my trip to Toulouse, everything in the room is "old", it is said to have restored the appearance of 1930, the wooden floor is also creaky, the room is in a great location, the window is right next to the town square, the sun shines in in the morning and afternoon, it is quite atmospheric. The hotel is outside the downtown area, there are many restaurants and supermarkets, but the authentic good restaurants are still a distance away, fortunately Toulouse is not big, you can walk everywhere.
