Séjour de deux nuits dans cet hôtel situé dans le centre de Tours à 10mn à pied de la Gare SNCF. Accueil courtois de la part des réceptionnistes présentes. L'hôtel donne l'impression que nous nous sommes arrêté dans le temps.... Je n'ai pas du tout le sentiment de retrouver les codes de la chaîne Mercure mais plutôt celui d'un hôtel indépendant sans réel uniformité. Les chambres ont bien vécues...La moquette des couloirs est toute tachée, les trous béants dans les faux plafonds.... Malgré un double vitrage les chambre côté gare restent bruyantes. Le petit déjeuner est correct (avec BFM en fond sonore...) Le personnel ne porte aucun uniforme. Tout cela donne une impression de fouillis et pas du tout d'un standard 4 étoiles appartenant au groupe Accor. D'autres bonnes options sont possibles en 4 étoiles à Tours : Hôtel "Oceania" par exemple où j'ai continué la suite de mon séjour situé proche de la gare.

Over all it was great staff friendly, service was good but Air-conditions were old and in good condition, not cooling the rooms, showers needed to be replaced with new ones.

Une étoile pour l'amabilité du personnel mais rien de plus. Comment cet hôtel peut-il afficher 4 étoiles? Une chambre délabrée : faux plafond abimé, manquant, bas de porte cassé, fuite dans la salle de bain, boiserie salle de bain pas propre et j'écourte ma liste. En plus de ça aucun raffinement dans les chambres notamment salle d'eau et toilette. Le petit déjeuné est simplement catastrophique pour un hôtel 4 *. Quelques pots de confiture "Bonne Maman" des pancakes secs et quelques mini crêpes. Pour le reste rien de bien attrayant des mini-viennoiseries pas assez cuites. Nous arrivions du Mercure de Blois où la comparaison n'est même pas faire tant la prestation petit dej est qualitative. Pour le reste un bar qui n'existe pas et des sachets de thé Lipton...peut on tomber plus bas. Une nuit en famille à 157 euros : une honte. J'espère que ce message aura pour effet de contribuer à l'amélioration des conditions d'hébergement. Notre expérience fût assez catastrophique. Pour le moment un établissement à éviter et à rénover surtout.

Personnel très sympathique mais l'hôtel ne mérite pas ses étoiles : l'ibis en face est + moderne et + calme. Il y a le minimum de produit de toilette, même pas de lotion pour le corps. Et là proximité des rails est bruyante, on entend les annonces SNCF fenêtre fermée.

I was one of the lucky ones in our party, who got a decent size room. The overall impression is dated, but not completely worn down. The restaurant is for breakfast only - and you need to go to the city center to eat lunch / dinner. There is a restaurant at the Novotel down the road, but it is closed during the weekend. The elevator was stuck twice during the week we stayed - we spent the weekend in Paris - and when we came back on the evening 16th of September one elevator was not functioning - and when I pressed the button on the other elevator "Up" - nothing happened. I asked the receptionist if the elevator was working and she reacted in every shape and form - body language, deep sigh and eyes in the sky as if I was a complete ***** that I didn't know that I should have pressed "Down" - to get up. Unstable elevators is of course pretty bad - but worse was that when the elevator was too busy we tried to use the fire escape - and it was blocked on the ground floor - that is quite frankly ridiculous ad just too dangerous. I know this hotel is cheap - but it is for a good reason - use your money elsewhere.
