I think it's in the downtown area and it's good 々 and it's still noisy. The front desk was more like a hotel than a security person who did nothing. Anyway, I think it's good to stay cheaply, but if you expect it as a hotel, I think it's a pity. It's enough to just sleep. There was an old pink public phone. There was a paper on the elevator that said no smoking. Because it is in downtown, there are people who are drunk and smoke in the elevator. It is a hotel of such type.

The hotel is located very close to the train station. There are many restaurants and malls close by. The staff were very friendly, and some were helpful in English. The information booth in the train station was very good for travel info. in English. The hotel has free tickets for the streetcars that were a good way to get around.

Stable Tokyu brand. Close to the station, convenient for shopping and eating and drinking. The rooms are on the 8th floor and above, so it feels like a fairly high floor. The beds are large and comfortable. Since it was part of the tour, I don't know the amount of accommodation only, but when I look at it on this site, it seems to be about 12,000 yen. Considering the quality, the cost performance is high. Check-in is at 2:00, so if you have a slow lunch, you can check in as it is. The only complaint is that there are only two elevators and you have to wait quite a while during crowded times.

Perfect location. The hotel is literally steps from the Toyama Tram Station, the Toyama Station and Dentetsu Train Station. The hotel is located in the upper floors of the Maroot Building which houses a mall, a premium grocery with a small area with tables, perfect to have some light meal. We got some sashimi after our day at Kurobe Gorge and before heading out on the train station. The room with got was good and clean. We got the Standard Twin Room and it was spacious enough. There's also a public bath in the hotel, perfect for a long day coming from Nagano via the Tateyama Alpine Route. I love how the lobby looks as well as the guest lounge and public bath, they all have that modern look that's stylish and clean. Security is good despite it being in the same building as the mall and use the same elevator to the lobby. From the lobby, to get into the elevator hall for the rooms, you need to scan your key card. then scan again on the elevator. Also to get into the public bath and to the guest lounge which offers water, ice, coffee and some snacks. While I appreciate the strict security, I think there's too much duplicate key card scanning. Basically you still have to scan to get into an area which is already inside a secured area. It's kinda overkill in my opinion :-) Staff is okay, they do what is expected of a hotel like this and they are good with their jobs but a bit aloof. They could improve in terms of friendliness. Aside from these things, the hotel was great, the space was comfortable and the ambiance was very nice and tasteful. Unfortunately, we only stayed a night.

This was our first experience at a Toyoko Inn hotel. As it was quite cheap my expectations were not too high. I was very pleasantly surprised and have no complaints. Room was typical Japanese size. Was clean. Looked like maybe a recent makeover. Breakfast was included. Whilst it is reasonably basic there is more than enough choices to fill you up and get you on the road for the day. The ladies cooking and serving are very welcoming. Limited English by checkin staff. They used a voice translator to assist. As we were staying at 2 Toyoko Inns on our travel I joined the loyalty program for 1500y. I got my money back and more as the rooms are discounted if you are a member. You also get early check in and other benefits. I would definitely stay again and will check out other Toyoko Inns if we visit Japan again. Now that we have stayed at one we are seeing them everywhere.

The room is very clean. There is a multi storey carpark connected to the hotel, you can park there if you are driving, overnight parking is cheaper if you pay at the hotel, you just need to validate the ticket at the reception at level 2 everyday before you leave the carpark. They will accumulate the parking fee at the time you check out, hassle free to pay everyday.
The coin laundry washing machine is a bit weak to dry your clothes, my advice to those who drive is to bring to any 24 hours coin laundry outside, faster and more efficient.
Besides the coin laundry, I will recommend this hotel.
Thank you.

Great location as near the train station and Toyama castle. To get to the castle, after exiting the hotel, turn left, walk straight on for some 100m , then cross the road. By then you can see the river. Just follow the river and you will arrive at the castle. Next to the castle is a public park, an ideal green area in the city to take a morning walk. As we were international guests, the hotel staff gave us free tram tickets to use to get around Toyama. Spacious and comfortable room. Quiet environment to pass the night. Fast, free open wifi. One can have free coffee to drink in the lounge. Nice, spacious lounge with many sofas to sit and relax / to while away time/ to wait for friends.

When I was taken care of a while ago, I had the image that the breakfast was delicious at a hotel with the best land advantage, but this time it was renewed and the room was very clean. National travel support was also applied, and the price was suppressed, and it was possible to stay cheaply. Breakfast is not luxurious like a city hotel, but it is rich and delicious than inn. Also, the little-known spot is an izakaya on the 4th floor. I recommend it here. It's delicious and you don't have to leave the hotel.

It is a beautiful, large and convenient hotel just off the north exit of Toyama Station. I was able to stay cheaply through the travel site. I was able to eat local food at Marche at Toyama Station and walk to the floodwater park in about 10 minutes. I think it's a really good hotel, but it was a little dangerous because the thin plate on the surface of the desk in the room was peeled off after staying. There is a trace of repairing with gum tape and it seems that it has been broken for a long time, so it's a little problem. It may have been the reason why he changed to a non-smoking room on the day. Then I wanted you to be careful in advance.

The double bed is comfortable. There is no other flexible spotlight. The futon cover is a bag type, so you can rest assured that you have a bad sleep. Drink vending machines are cheap. It was my first time to have a rain shower, but it is convenient and fun. High performance, not just the toilet unit. The drainage speed of the bath is fast and I don't feel stress. It is easy to use depending on the shape of the faucet. The fixed position of the shower nozzle is changed, and it is the most easy to use. There is a big clock and it is very convenient. There is also a stand mirror.

Outstanding
JJIANHUAJapan Toyama Garaku River View Hotel. Is it beautiful because there is a river? In fact, what makes this hot spring hotel in the suburbs of Toyama more attractive is its warmth and tranquility. The design of the hotel is very low-key and simple, but the internal facilities are quite luxurious and fashionable. From the moment you step into the lobby, you are amazed. The warm fireplace, high-end audio system, and the reading room full of books can truly feel at home. .
KkmtoriI booked at a travel company and paid money in advance, but when I tried to check in, I couldn't make a reservation by the mistake of the hotel side. It was waiting for about an hour by car and finally passed to the room, but it was a room different from the room I originally booked. It was a two-person room when I searched on the homepage without the explanation of the room. (this is three people) two beds and one futon. First of all, I asked why this happened, which mistake was on the travel company or the hot spring side, and I checked it later, and I couldn't tell you anything until check-out. Finally, when I hear from here, I call and confirm it, and it is transmitted again. After that, there was a phone call for apology, but on the day, I was in a hurry and came to apologize for only one person first. There was a telephone from the travel company later, but the travel company also had a telephone from the accommodation, and it was said that only one time after checking out. The travel company also said on the phone that it was a bad attitude. There was a memory that I enjoyed going with my family when I was small, but I didn't want to go for a lifetime. I visited this time at the birthday celebration of my family, so I didn't say anything, but it was a trip that ended with a regret and a disgusting thought.
GGuest UserThe hotel has dining, the boss is an old couple is very good (we booked 2 rooms with 2 beds, but took the daughter family to play with 3 people, I thought 2 beds and 3 people were enough to sleep, but the bed was 1 meter wide, but fortunately there was just a 3-person room upstairs. Adding more than 400 yuan for a person to change the room) has a daughter who also helps in the store. The hotel has a hot spring to soak (the hot spring pool separates men and women), the location is on the mountain, opposite the hotel is the ski resort! If you go to Lishan Heibu the next day, this place is very good. It is more than 2 kilometers away from Lishan Railway Station. If you make an appointment with the boss in advance, the boss will drive to Lishan Railway Station to pick up and drop off. If you walk to Lishan Railway Station, it takes 30 minutes! We drove us to Lishan Railway Station at 5 am. It took about 7 minutes to arrive. When we arrived, we queued up to buy tickets for the black section of Lishan. We bought the first ticket at 7:10!
AAngelHellI’ll start with the positives - an easy 10 minute walk from either the JR Toyama station and the dentetsu for the alpine route. Lots of cool wee bars and restaurants between the hotel and the CIC shopping centre. The room itself was tiny, mouldy (see pic of shower curtain), and with one of the worst outlooks I’ve ever seen from a hotel window (see pic). And the toilet was like a training toilet for toddlers with the smallest seat imaginable (again this needs a picture!) . It was a weird stay and looking at other options nearby, for a tiny bit more ¥, you get a lot more reliable an experience.
GGuest UserLooks like a rather dated hotel but again one of its plus is location, rather an easy access from Toyama Station, a straight road with a right turn into a smaller side road, and I was there ... however when I have my luggage, the walk always seems longer ... It is also located within the vicinity of many places of interest that Toyama has within walking distance. Other plus ponts this hotel has is that it has a coin-operated laundryr oom complete with dryers offering complimetary detergent, and the room rate comes with Japanese breakfast, not elaborate but suffice. The only comment that I had for the room was that duvet didn't smell that fresh as in a new check-in room.
AAnonymous UserAlthough it is like a guest house, the facilities are a bit old, but it is very clean and the space is large, like a single apartment. The heating is in place, although it was autumn when I went. The bathroom is really, every bathroom in Japan is a master of space utilization, the water pressure is sufficient, the water is smooth, without exception, admire. The kettle is very cute hahaha. The location is good, walk to the train station for a minute or two, the train station seems to be the most lively place in Toyama.
GGuest UserHonestly I didn't expect it but it was quite great
The staff is flexible and the service is excellent
The building is an old building, so it's a key, not a card key, but clean
Rather, I feel good because I feel the old atmosphere
GGuest UserIt is the second time. I stayed with two daughters of elementary school students. The last time was only breakfast, but this time I also used a accommodation coupon, so I made a 2 meal (child plan), but it was a great answer. Honestly, I didn't expect much to satisfy even the child, but dinner is much more than expected! ! Is it possible to eat so much because there were many items written? I thought, but all of them were just right, and I was able to taste very delicious until the last dessert. It was a meal with a gap in the hall, but I was impressed by the staff's attention, such as the next item being carried as soon as I finished eating one item. The breakfast buffet was firm in response to confirmation that the warmth was not cold, and replenishment when it became less. There are various things in the Japanese and Western countries, and it is a pity that I couldn't taste everything in one night. The rice was delicious, so I was satisfied with the center of Japanese food this time. The room is also clean. It was a train, so I was very helpful to respond flexibly to the transfer. I felt that I would hospitalize my customers from all employees, and I had a good meal, so I became a hotel that I wanted to recommend to acquaintances and relatives.
