We chose this hotel because of its location. It’s a nice and quiet place. Great venue for weddings. No complaints

Staff Excellent as was the food. Rooms could do with some maintenence e.g. Bathroom door could not be closed fully.

We booked this hotel last minute due to another hotel cancelling us. The staff were very welcoming, extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel was very beautiful with a nice bar lounge area downstairs which stayed open until 1am. Our room was nice, although we had a room with a velux window so it felt very dark. We didn't have any view and didn't like that we had no window to open for fresh air. I think this was just unfortunate for us due to booking last minute and the hotel finding 4 rooms to accommodate us. Our friends who stayed had nice rooms with windows. We would definitely stay here again.

What the hotel lacked in amenities( a mini fridge in the room) it more than made up for with the service. The staff are amazing and went more than the extra mile to make our short stay amazing and comfortable. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is 30 minutes out of Cardiff, but very picturesque. Lots of parking available. I would recommend this to anyone. It is a 3 star but to me felt nothing less than a 5 star. Thank you for making our weekend get together extra memorable.

What a gem. Conveniently located fir the mining heritage site next door, comfy and clearly they’re doing some refurb work to make it even better. Good restaurant with very sensible pricing, comfy, clean rooms and excellent breakfast. Will be back !

The reception staff were all great. They are very helpful and friendly. Especially Thanks for the handsome guy. He's so gentleman and cheerful. Also, two pretty ladies at the reception. The bedroom was Clean, Spacious and comfy. The breakfast was delicious. Free Parking.
