Located in Tremezzo, a quieter part of Lake Como, we enjoyed a relaxing stay. It was only a three-minute walk from the Tremezzo ferry and bus terminals, and the flat terrain made it easy to move around with a suitcase. Villa Carlotta is nearby, allowing for easy walking to sights. During peak season, public transportation on Lake Como can be extremely congested, making it difficult to catch a bus or ferry, so having tourist spots within walking distance is a major advantage. The room was spacious, and the restaurant terrace was simply amazing. The breakfast was delicious, and being able to enjoy it on the terrace with a great view made for a truly memorable experience. While I regret not having time for dinner this time, I'll definitely include it next time. The staff were all friendly and willing to help with sightseeing tips. While the staff are apparently unavailable after the restaurant closes at night, there's no need to worry, as the room phone can be used to contact them in case of an emergency. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great lake view. Very helpful staff. Superb location near Villa Carlotta and the mid-lake pier. The food at the restaurant was excellent.The only down-side was that on checking out at 6 am we had to use the emergency exit.

La Darsena is beautifullly located - on the world's most beautiful lake: Lago di Como ! -A room with lake view and balcony is especially recommended. -Breakfast on the terrace is directly on the Lake. Unusual is the hot foods (omelettes, egg dishes) are made-to-order - and beverages are served in small indiviudal pots for coffee or tea. An array of other breakfast choices are on a buffet. -Parking is available, close-by. -And the staff is welcoming, helpful, and hospitable. Much appreciated ! ]

Hotel is located right on the water on Lake Como. Dining is amazing with best views of lake. The room was spacious and everyone working there were very courteous. The boat ferry station at Tremezzo is very close and convenient to hotel, which made transportation from Como train station very easy.

This was a lucky and incredible find!! Summer in Lake Como is very busy and I was lucky to find this beautiful hotel. The location, Tremezzo is perfect. You are walking distance to bars and restaurants and importantly a stones throw from a bus stop and ferry stop. The owners and staff are kind and very welcoming. The breakfast and food was very generous and lovely. My room was wonderful! On the water with spectacular views. Spacious, comfortable and beautiful. The bathroom was perfect!!
As I said, this hotel was a beautifully incredible find and it would be a pleasure to recommend it. I rarely write reviews, however, I could not fault anything. I look forward to a return stay.

The best Hotel, Food, Service of my three week vacation. I could have stayed here forever. We had the two balcony corner room that was big enough for my family to visit. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Everyone was so nice and helpful. My son got married in the park next to the Hotel so perfect location. Loved my stay. Can't wait to return

Hotel Darsena is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. It's in a wonderful location on the banks of lake Como and close to ferries to other towns in the area such as Bellagio and Menagio. It's a family run hotel and from the moment my husband and I walked into the hotel we were made to feel at home. Our room was airy and spacious, the staff were amazing and the restaurant was fantastic. We ate in the hotel restaurant twice and each time our meal was the best we'd had during our stay in Tremezzo. The view from the hotel is breathtaking and sitting on the terrace having breakfast, looking at the view , was a perfect way to start the day. I can only give 5 stars but if I could I'd give 10.

The location was fantastic with a beautiful view over the lake and a short walk to restaurants.
The bed was very hard (as most italian beds are).
