Triadelphia Hotels with Gym

We have stayed here the last few years for our week in Wheeling and have found this to be one of the best hotels in the area. The hotel is in a convenient location in the Highlands development with many stores and restaurants in the immediate area. Hotel was well maintained and the room and public areas were spotless. The room had nice decor. Staff was helpful and friendly throughout our stay. I don't expect a lot from the free breakfast but this one was above average and the assortment was changed each day of our stay. This is our choice when in the Wheeling area.

Located in Triadelphia, Comfort Inn & Suites is a 4-minute drive from Highlands Sports Complex and 10 minutes from Suspension Bridge. This hotel is 5.5 mi (8.8 km) from Oglebay Park and 10.2 mi (16.4 km) from Smart Center.Take advantage of recreation opportunities including an indoor pool and a fitness center. An all around nice property in a very convenient location for a transient. The hotel is within a few minutes from I-70 and is surrounded by every possible shopping and restaurant choice one might need during a trip. Walmart is within walking distance while a whole host of shops, stores, and restaurants are within a few minutes of driving distance. The hotel itself is your typical well-maintained Hampton Inn with the usual breakfast fare. I don't know why one would want to go to Wheeling WV, but if one has to go there, then this Hampton Inn is where one should stay.

Stay at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Wheeling at the Highlands. Showed up minutes after I made my reservation on the app, but the girl at the desk was already waiting on me & called me by name upon walking in the door (nice touch, unbelievable customer service!) The building itself is pretty average for a budget motel, but it's not overly run down like others have suggested. Could it use some updates & miscellaneous repairs? Of course! No property that sees the volume of people through its doors this place does would be capable of keeping up. But the crew here clearly tries. Not only would I stay here again, but I'd be a fool to choose any of the other local choices knowing this place has a fresh & hot breakfast with real protein choices, too! If you don't understand how big of a deal this is, be thankful. To top it all off, my service dog was welcomed warmly & I wasn't given any grief about her like occasionally happens. Thanks to the entire staff for knowing the laws and making us both feel welcomed. We will be back
