We showed up and there were some issues with the last minute reservation we made. Eva went our of her way to make sure we were taken care of, right down to helping us get a table that night for dinner. Elvis, our server at dinner, was great too, as was the food. We had a great stay, only wish it could have been longer.

We booked online and when we arrived there was an issue, the hotel was overbooked and they didn't have enough beds for our group. Eva at the front desk worked some magic and moved somethings around and we were able to stay at the hotel. The room was amazing. Eva even helped us get a table for dinner, as two tour buses had just arrived and our kids were tired. She and Elvis set us up with a table and Elvis gave us great service. The meal was excellent. Trim was by far the best hotel and dining experience we had in Ireland. Every employee we encountered was kind and helpful.

Excellent staff made remote wedding planning possible! Husband is Irish and I'm American. We got married in Ireland in June 2024 and had our reception at the hotel. Excellent service - the wedding coordinators really took care of us from day 1 up until the actual wedding day. Highly responsive to emails and calls. You can tell they are pros at weddings because everything ran so smoothly! We received loads lf compliments from both sides of our families on the food, the venue, and the service. Seriously the best day ever!

We got married in Trim Castle Hotel 25.05.2024. We went over to view the venue a year before and to see the town, the staff were so friendly, and everyone we met was so helpful and interested in us coming to visit the venue! Anna, Debbie and Geraldine were brilliant at helping to plan the wedding and discuss all the important bits to us. We have to say a huge thank you to Liama who decorated the room and MC'd the day! She really brought the whole day together with extra touches and we're so glad she was there throughout our day! Also, huge thank you to Julie for her help throughout the day and to Elvinas and Paddy who were running the bar! They both worked so hard, service was so quick and they made sure they chatted with all of our guests! The food we had was amazing! We cannot fault it! We were all in a food coma after our meal and everyone we spoke to said how amazing their food was - including the people with dietary requirements which had meals adapted to them! Every meal over the 4 days we were there was brilliant, not just on our wedding day! We really could not have wished for a better day.

We selected the package that included dinner with cocktails and breakfast. The food was wonderful and the service excellent. Great value for the money. Rooms are not air conditioned and the windows only open a few inches. So it was a bit stuffy in the room over night.

We had lunch last week in the Boann Bistro. The quality of the food and service was deplorably bad. We have enjoyed some nice meals in the hotel over the years and it is just very sad to see such a dramatic decline in a lovely hotel . The issue of cars being clamped in the hotel’s underground car park is something that needs to be addressed. I hope the owners can take action very soon to save the hotel before it is too late.
