The best of the best! You cannot say a single bad thing about this hotel. Evelin the manager is incredible and is truly gifted at hospitality. She is the most helpful and arranged everything we needed. This hotel is serene and dreamy and we will miss it every day.

Lo Sereno es un propiedad ubicada en Troncones a 25 minutos de Zihuatanejo, Guerrero. Con gran respeto a la naturaleza, el hotel ideado por su propietario Rafael Sainz y los arquitectos Nicolás Sainz y Jorge González crearon un espacio sensual y hippie chic. Lo sereno ofrece un restaurante al aire libre con vista a la playa y la comida está basada en alimentos locales y en platillos clásicos nacionales e internacionales. Constantemente el staff de cocina perfecciona recetas clásicas como la pasta vongole, tostadas de atún, papas bravas, camarones pelados o el clásico mousse de chocolate. Dedicación y tiempo le han costado a Rafael el ofrecer un servicio de lujo y el entrenar a todo el staff para dar un servicio de primera. En el hotel se cuidan todos los detalles y te reciben como si estuvieras llegando a su casa. Lo Sereno apostó por ofrecer algo que faltaba en Troncones, una propiedad de lujo en medio de una playa semi-virgen del pacifico y crear un hotel que cuenta con 10 suites bajo el concepto de “Barefoot elegance.” El hotel miembro de @designhotels, es totalmente vintage, parece una casa de Acapulco de los 50’s, en donde podrás pasar de un espacio a otro como si estuvieras en tu propia casa de playa. La playlist del hotel está perfectamente curada. Por la mañana despiertas con un exquisito piano de fondo, a medio día comienza el bossa nova y por la tarde jazz & chill. Rafa cuida todos los detalles. Si quieres vivir la experiencia de estar en una playa semi-virgen con confort y una arquitectura impecable, invierte y lánzate a Lo Sereno, en Troncones. Amazing design, loved my room, food was top notch, staff was super cool and friendly. Very welcoming and relaxing - I love this place and will definitely return! The owner Rafael is a badass - and the hotel design is contemporary while still feeling like Mexico.

We spent 6 nights at this lovely chic hotel right on the beach in the charming seaside village of Troncones, and loved every minute. Cleanliness was top notch everywhere, staff gracious and our room had a very comfy bed, spacious open air type bathroom and within view, and hearing, of the Pacific ocean. Gorgeous. Food quality very high with super breakfast, delicious lunches and great dining in the evening. We felt we’d found our idyllic beach retreat.

What a fantastic, intimate boutique hotel located on a beautiful, peaceful stretch of beach. The staff is amazing and treats you like family. The kitchen makes some of the most fantastic meals and grounds are very well kept. The rooms are great with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. It blew away my expectations and hope to return again soon!

We recently rented this entire 9 room boutique hotel to celebrate our 25 yr wedding anniversary with friends and family and we were blown away by the location, hotel, staff and experience. From the incredible rooms, attentive staff and beautiful luxury installations we couldn’t have been more thrilled. The owner and staff bent over backwards to create an incredible array of luxury dinners, cooking classes, beach horseback riding, and on site massages to name just a few things. I highly recommend this luxurious niche hotel for a relaxing and intimate escape.

A true place to relax and disconnect. This small hotel with only 10 rooms is so intimate that it actually feels like YOUR home. The common area. Where the pool, beach and hotel restaurant are located are its heart. The pool is at a suitable temperature (not cold, not hot, perfect) the beach is very large, quiet and clean. You feel that this is a virgin beach. And the attention of all the staff is perfect. EVERYONE is always attentive to your needs. And of course the food is very good. The room invites you to a moment of tranquility. It doesn't matter that you don't have a television. You don't want to watch TV in such a peaceful place. And the bathroom has the perfect balance between sexy and intimate.

What a cool, boutique hotel...with only 9 rooms, great service and a quiet peaceful location on the beach...it blew away our expectations. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable with a creative semi-outdoor shower. In room WIFI was terrific and our King size bed was ultra comfortable. The location of Lo Sereno was easy walking distance to the quiet town of Troncones and to lots of really good places to eat/drink. It was also located right on a very quiet part of the beach facing west (great sunsets) and would see less than 10 people each day walking on beach. Most impressively was the staff which starts with Evelin who was always available to our needs and helped with taxi, food reservations, etc. The food was very good and margaritas were terrific...most relaxing vacation and we can't wait to go back.
