Hotels near Blue Water Diving Center, Trou aux Biches

Was a bit optimistic as we read so many mixed reviews but alls I can say is the only complaint I had during our 12 night stay in room 122 in September 2024 was you can’t check in until 2pm as we arrived early and exhausted after long trip from Liverpool. But the rest of our stay was unbelievable the room was spotlessly cleaned every day including fresh towels the staff at the bar are all polite talkative and very helpful as are the staff in the restaurant. The food was lovely and had a good variety of choice and I’m fussy with food and always found something that I could eat. The pool and pool areas are spotless with comfortable sun loungers. The entertainment staff are brilliant and the entertainment at night was very good. The beach over the road is stunning the sunset is unreal. There is a Guy called ViJay on the beach who sells trips I’d highly recommend him as he was the cheapest and very honest I left my GoPro camera in the minibus after the trip and the next day he brought it back to me so ViJay if your reading this thanks again mate I’ll see you next time I highly recommend his catamaran trip to the island and waterfall to see the wild monkeys that was a awesome day out. There are huge fox face bats flying around from sunset and are amazing to watch There is plenty of free stuff to do on the beach too Inc paddle boarding canoeing, glass bottom boats etc. We booked this holiday for the 1st time using Bluebay Travel who we will be using again overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will will absolutely be returning here to this beautiful island and hotel thank you to our friends Lynn and Tony, Mauritius and all at the casuarina for making our dreams come true and shoutout to Dave and Tracy a lovely couple we met there

I would like to share my experience during my stay at Le Cardinal Exclusive Resort. Starting with the smooth booking process and paying attention to all my requests. Anielle, you have been a great support! We had a warm welcome on our arrival from Ayushi and made us feel at ease with the registration and formalities. The room was so beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable and to our surprise we had a bunch of options to watch movies from different streaming platforms which is a first experience from all the hotels we stayed so far. The food was so yummy and delicious. Mr Thaukoor deserves our special thanks for his excellent coordination with the restaurant staff. He has been very nice to us and helpful. The birthday cake timing was superb! Nicely decorated and delicious! Overall, we had a great experience and excellent service from the friendly staff. We will definitely recommend and will certainly stay here again! Thanks a lot everyone for making our day special.

The hotel is very cost effective and personally feels good. Suitable for ”poor travel”, about 5 kilometers from Super Bay in Dawan, you can take the bus in the past (82 road, tell him where to go, look at the map, when you arrive, you have to press the bell to get off, not too language Easy), most hotels in Mao Ball are basically inconvenient to go out. If the hotel calls a taxi more than 1000 rupees, I used the bus only 24 rupees. . . We stayed there 3 weeks in january- enjoyed every single day! Nice big room with a fantastic balkony where you can drink your mornings and afternoons coffee and see the sun going down. Choose the 3. floor- the seavew is better. Very close to the beach- just 3 min walking, everything is in a god walking distance, so you do not beed a car. Bus stop is also just close by to every direction, if you want to go for a small trip to Port Louis or another nice beach. Very kind stuff on the reception and cleaning ladys always helpfull. One of the best thing her is at you can use the facilities at the Palmiste Hotel near by, wich is oned by the same company. They have many swimmingpools and nice palmgarden. All inn all it was a perfct vacation and we recommend it to all who do not want to stay at a hotel and eat there every day and evening. We tried every day some different restaurants in the small village and were absolutely satisfied with the food and prices in Trou aux Biches. There is an Italian, Chinese, Japaneese, Indian restaurant, some other with Mauritian specialities - actually many nice places to eat, without to cook at the appartament, but you could if you want. Take your own beach towels, the beach is nice and long, the water is perfect to swim or dive- clean, warm. It was just great !!!!
