We stayed at OceanV, Grand Baie for 7 nights and we absolutely LOVED our stay. We took the “all inclusive” package and I can really recommend this option as this really makes the entire holiday more enjoyable, no need to stress about paying for any drinks, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner. Inclusive package review: You get a set menu for lunch and dinner which is always decent. My wife is a fussy eater but always managed to find something to eat. For dinner you can also choose options off the main menu which helps when the kitchen is a bit adventurous with the set menu. The drinks that are included are three types of beer, three types of wine, 8/9 cocktails and three mocktails as well as a wide range of cooldrink and hot beverages. This was really sufficient and if you do want to try anything else, you can always just order from the bar. Room and service review: The staff is extremely friendly and always helpful. The room was perfect, amazing view of the sea and an aircon that we had on the entire time and worked perfectly. The staff cleaned the room and bathroom everyday, no complaints, just compliments. Trips/Excursions: We did not use the hotel’s recommended service providers as they were a bit expensive. We went on a catamaran trip, initially using the hotel connection but after they cancelled we were able to find Coral Belle, a very professional catamaran trip company who have three catamaran’s that go to the islands every day, they have a little shop in sunset boulevard - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We took the bus everywhere, Grand Baie for shopping and Port Louis for the day trip - really worth it regarding the price 24 rs from Pereybere to Grand Baie and 44 rs from Pereybere to Port Louis. Recommended to wait for the express bus to Port Louis if you can, the normal bus takes a quite while longer. Finally, the beach is walking distance, 300m, and we were able to walk around to the beach right in front of the hotel for privacy and less crowded. All Round: We would come back and recommend!!!

The beach is beautiful! The restaurant is delicious! The western food is very authentic, the variety is very complete, no one cares when the dinner is busy, the attitude is not busy, it is understandable. It is actually a bit difficult to go up on the net red swing qwq will stay again next time!

The hotel is a bit old, but all the facilities are still complete and the service attitude is great. Every staff member is smiling. There are three swimming pools and three restaurants besides the buffet. I highly recommend the Indian restaurant, which is very good. eat. The seaside restaurants are also delicious, with exquisite dishes, suitable for dates.

Anielle, you have been a great support! We had a warm welcome on our arrival from Ayushi and made us feel at ease with the registration and formalities. The room was so beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable and to our surprise we had a bunch of options to watch movies from different streaming platforms which is a first experience from all the hotels we stayed so far. The food was so yummy and delicious. Mr Thaukoor deserves our special thanks for his excellent coordination with the restaurant staff. He has been very nice to us and helpful. The birthday cake timing was superb! Nicely decorated and delicious! Overall, we had a great experience and excellent service from the friendly staff. We will definitely recommend and will certainly stay here again! Thanks a lot everyone for making our day special.

GGuest UserWe stayed there 3 weeks in january- enjoyed every single day! Nice big room with a fantastic balkony where you can drink your mornings and afternoons coffee and see the sun going down. Choose the 3. floor- the seavew is better. Very close to the beach- just 3 min walking, everything is in a god walking distance, so you do not beed a car. Bus stop is also just close by to every direction, if you want to go for a small trip to Port Louis or another nice beach. Very kind stuff on the reception and cleaning ladys always helpfull. One of the best thing her is at you can use the facilities at the Palmiste Hotel near by, wich is oned by the same company. They have many swimmingpools and nice palmgarden. All inn all it was a perfct vacation and we recommend it to all who do not want to stay at a hotel and eat there every day and evening. We tried every day some different restaurants in the small village and were absolutely satisfied with the food and prices in Trou aux Biches. There is an Italian, Chinese, Japaneese, Indian restaurant, some other with Mauritian specialities - actually many nice places to eat, without to cook at the appartament, but you could if you want. Take your own beach towels, the beach is nice and long, the water is perfect to swim or dive- clean, warm. It was just great !!!!
