The Italian sounding gentleman who checked me in was astute, kind and informative. The property is nicely upgraded, with modern amenities and beautiful wood touches everywhere.
And the view is spectacular.

Not ideal for families
We stayed here for 2 nights, arriving by train at Chur. The resort is about a 20 minute cab ride. The ride was pricey so we didn’t venture back into town. There were limited activities in the summer. We went on a nice long hike and had a spa treatment.
When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff members and checked in about 2 hours before scheduled check in time.
We had reserved a junior suite which was advertised as having a balcony. It did not have a balcony. The bed, pillows and blankets were very comfortable, as was the pull out sofa. The room was very small and didn’t allow for privacy. We are a family of four with 2 teenagers. The shower and toilet are in 2 separate stalls located in the main room. There is no separate bathroom. The shower and toilet both have a motion sensor light that turns on when someone enters the stall. The light is very bright and wakes up anyone sleeping in the bed anytime someone needs the toilet in the middle of the night.
The spa treatment was excellent and relaxing. My daughter and I had massages with Nina and she did a lovely job pampering us. We enjoyed the whirlpool tub.
Breakfast was served from 8-10:30. There were a variety of juices, teas, breads, cheese, meats, cereal, eggs and bacon. Coffee was made to order. I would not recommend this resort for families.

Wunderschönes Gebäude, geschmackvolle Zimmer, sehr bequeme Matratzen, tolles Spa und super Service vom Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und den Kurzaufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel e devo dire che è stata un'esperienza fantastica. La struttura è molto bella e ben curata, creando un'atmosfera accogliente e rilassante. Uno dei punti forti è senza dubbio la colazione: ricca e variegata, offre una selezione di prodotti freschi e locali. Ma il vero gioiello è la cena. I piatti sono pazzeschi, frutto di un’ottima ricerca delle materie prime a km 0. Ogni portata è un'esplosione di sapori, ben presentata e preparata con grande attenzione. Consiglio vivamente di non perdere l'opportunità di cenare qui; è un'esperienza culinaria che arricchisce il soggiorno. In sintesi, un hotel da non perdere per chi cerca qualità e gusto!

Wunderbar hergerichtet, komplett renoviertes Hotel mit sehr viel Charme. Der Prunk vergangener Zeiten wurde hervorgeholt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gross mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Die Abendkarte ist nicht sehr gross. Sie bietet aber eine genügende Auswahl mit hochwertigen Speisen die sehr sorgfältig und schön angerichtet sind. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es war ein schöner, erholsamer Aufenthalt in einem charmanten Bergdorf.
