秘境といわれる秋山郷のなかにある宿。越後妻有アートトリエンナーレ「大地の芸術祭」に合わせて宿泊。 基本的にはやや芸術祭価格ではあるのですが、このロケーションや廃校利用という歴史性などを考えると妥当なところかなとは思いました。ただ、近隣の観光地（？）はどこも遠く、歩いていくにも結構時間がかかり、さらに車が入るには細すぎる道も多いので、やや不便です。 宿の人は良くも悪くも適当にほっておいてくれる感じです。 お料理は変わった地元の食材などもあって楽しかったですね。食で地域のことを知ることができるというのは、北川フラム系の芸術祭では定番ではあります。 廃校利用ということで、隣室の音がかなり洩れます。仕方ないとはいえ、わいわい騒ぐような場所ではないということを心にとめて宿泊してほしいものです。
