I received the best hospitality. It was perfect and I would like to stay here again ( ・∀・)

I think the rooms (toilets, bathrooms, etc.) need to be reasonably barrier-free.

We stayed there on September 29th. We booked the room selection plan with 5pm check-in from the official website and stayed there with three parents and children. As you would expect from an inn that represents Atsumi Onsen, the food is relatively good, such as the matsutake mushrooms and wild vegetables for dinner and the sea bream chazuke for breakfast. They also took care of the caramel pudding that I missed out on due to stomach problems, and their hospitality is worthy of being ranked in the top 10 in the hospitality category of the Travel Newspaper Company. However, if they don't set a plan to cut back on the food at dinner or reduce it for those with smaller appetites, there will be many cases where I have to apologize in front of the delicious food, and since I have an upset stomach, there is very little I can eat, which made me sad. They are reluctant to tie up with Onsen Musume. There is a Hibiki Shoten and a tourist information center nearby, so you can buy collaboration products by going there before or after entering the inn. The bath is made of sodium and calcium chloride and sulfate water, which is good for the stomach and intestines. However, it is taboo for those with tuberculosis, ongoing illnesses, or pregnancy. The men's and women's baths are switched between 12:00 and 5:00 a.m., and those in "Rakuzan" can bathe in milky white water. However, the open-air baths, which are famous for their free-flowing water, are both small, and leaves get in the baths.

I stayed here a few years ago. I had such fond memories that I wanted to stay here again, so I made a reservation. As a result, the food was delicious no matter what I ate! The lobby and rooms were clean, and the fresh flowers in the rooms and everywhere were lovely! The bath was nice, and they even served coffee! I was able to relax. It was a memorable experience. I'd love to stay again!

The customer service was not very good. There was almost no guidance on the car when we arrived, or explanation of the meal contents.

Bankokuya is known as a high-end inn, but perhaps due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I had to carry my luggage to my room myself. I've stayed at a few other inns, but this was the first time I'd ever done something like that. As for the food, the sea bream rice for breakfast was tasty, but nothing particularly impressive.

The hot springs and customer service were good.

There are only high-ranking regulars of hot spring inns selected by professionals, and the facilities are luxurious and use plenty of wood, giving you a warm feeling. I stayed in a room with an open-air bath, but the pottery bath is free-flowing from the source, and the measured pH is neutral at 7.7. ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) is 220mV. It is good hot water of reduction system. The spring quality is sodium/calcium-chloride/sulfate spring. Is it slightly muddy? The large public bath and open-air bath are small for the size of the inn. I was especially surprised at how small the open-air bath was. Are there many rooms with open-air baths? The Japanese modern twin room is spacious and comfortable. The food was relatively simple for both breakfast and dinner, and I was a little disappointed, but I have no complaints. I enjoyed it😊

Overall, I think it's good value for money. Hot springs and public baths are lukewarm. I'm a little happy that there is a bag at the entrance of the bath where you can put wet towels etc. The bath in the room was free-flowing from the source, and it was so hot that it turned red in a second when I entered with the water dripping from the beginning. It felt good after adjusting it with hot water. It would be nice if there was confirmation of allergies and wasabi at the time of meal and check-in. For dinner, sashimi is served at a hot spring. I would have been happier if I had white rice or breakfast rice cooked for dinner. Breakfast is normal. I ate two clams in my clam miso soup and both were crispy and sad from the morning. The family who went with me was also jerking. It's difficult to choose between Japanese and Western, but it would be nice if it was a breakfast buffet or a light seafood bowl for breakfast instead of sushi for dinner. The building and cleaning are solid, and the structure is gorgeous. I wonder if the elevator can't be helped, but I'm worried about the sound of the door. I've been impressed by how well-maintained an older Japanese-made elevator can keep it, so I'd be happy if I could consult with the manufacturer and improve it. Room and cleanliness. Amenities are also taken care of. It's a pity that there is a bath towel for each person in the room, even though there is a hot spring bath. I'm happy to have two, one for the room and one for the large bath. It would be nice if there were less razors and combs in the public bath and a bath towel or milk or ice cream after the bath. The futon is a little firm. If you have one more futon, you're in a luxury inn. I wrote a harsh review because I thought it was delicious and wasteful, but overall this service at this price was very good.
