I drove up with my family for a business trip and arrived late at night. As soon as you walk in there was an odd smell which I should have taken as a red flag and left. Check in took some time and I was given a room at the second floor (211). I am part of the Choice hotel and stayed in multiple locations without disappointment but this was a terrible experience.. The sheets were dirty and one of them even had drips of blood. Luckily I had a couple of blankets on my car and brought them down so my two daughters slept on the floor. We were tired and it was too late to find another hotel. Next day, I went to work at 5AM and saw two mysterious people handing outside which was another red flag. I was planning on leaving work before 11 so I could check my family out, but unfortunately got back around 12. When i got there, this man was nocking on the door loudly and counting to 3 to open the door, where my wife and two young daughters were waiting for me. I asked him to stop but he started yelling at me saying that I act like I own this place. As I opened the door my family was in there terrified because of this man by the name of Patel who supposedly is the owner, was knocking on the door and trying to get in. Fortunately got there on time and had a conversation with this man but he was very rude and started saying he wasn't afraid of me. I believe choice should have a conversation with this man because I am sure if he would have forced the way into the room my wife would have shot him (We have license to carry). Terrible experience for me an my girls. No breakfast, even if it had by the look and smell of the hotel we wouldn't have eaten anything. Choice hotels, please look into this ASAP.

We booked a choice hotel because they have always been spotless. Huge mistake!! When you walk in the door the place smells like mothballs. They have plexiglass and duct tape to follow COVID rules. It’s hysterical. I had requested a ground floor room and I asked at the desk. I was told no we are full but I’ve given you a great room on the second floor. He was very nice. I then asked about the shuttle hours? 24 hours at the cost of $10. to go 1/2 mile. Your ad says free shuttle. Oh! By the next morning it didn’t. Our room was right next to the elevator. Ding ding ding. 207 As soon as we opened the door we knew just how great this room was. There was one bath towel thrown on the rack. Another hanging on back of door. Bathroom was not clean. Toilet had not seen a brush in a long time. The tub had never been cleaned. The sheets were clean but two of the pillow cases had spots on them. My husband went for towels and said the room was filthy. I’m sorry it’s the last room. Yes the room I had reserved online and called for a first floor. I cleaned the bathroom with their towels. I put my own sheets on the bed and we did not take a shower. In the morning I asked for a to go breakfast bag. He said we have water, granola and an orange. I said ok I’ll take one for each of us. He said you want them ALL??? He wanted me to pick one thing each. We paid our $10 shuttle and left. Never again. This site only allows 10 photos

We arrived late at night and from the minute we walked through the front door, I should have listened to my intuition and walked out. It was extremely dingy and dirty looking, and smelled just as bad. The front desk clerk was friendly, but the desk had plexiglass and duct tape protecting the night clerk, and the hand sanitizer station was empty. I don’t even know if they have a shuttle service, but there was a run down van parked out front, but I assume that’s just for show??? The elevator was nasty, the hallways smelled and there were seedy looking people walking around the halls at 1 AM. Once we got to the room, it was hotter than hell as the a/c was turned off. Went into the bathroom and saw what appeared to be a large black bug on the floor, and when I stepped on it, it was actually a large drop of blood that smeared all over the floor and the bottom of my shoe 🤢The bathroom walls had dripping stains of god knows what, there was one towel and no bath mat. The wall near the tub was rotted and buckling, and there was dirt and hair everywhere. We asked to change rooms at this point. Second room wasn’t much better, but we needed sleep as we had an early morning appointment. Proceeded to take a shower ( with my flip flops on as the tub looked nasty ) and the shower floor was so incredibly noisy and creaky, I was afraid it would break open and flood the place. There was only one, minuscule round hand soap and I couldn’t even get it to lather. So much for having a nice relaxing shower before bed ☹️ I am so disgusted as I write this. We have always stayed at Choice hotels and they are generally nice and clean, but this place sucks! I’m really pissed that we actually had to pay money to stay in this disaster of a hotel. We will be contacting corporate with our complaint, hopefully that will result in getting the manager of this dump to clean up his act. Please AVOID this place at all costs….

I canceled my 2020 reservation due to pandemic travel issues. While the original reservation was made as "non-refundable", I subsequently changed the reservation to a cancelable one under the Choice Hotels policy to do so and received an confirmation email regarding the reservation clearly indicating it could be canceled up until the night before. Once I did cancel my travel plans and canceled this reservation (2 months before the planned stay), I did not receive my refund. Calls to the hotel were referred to the owner who gave me a runaround about why the refund could not be processed, but promised me a future free stay. Now he does not return my calls or emails seeking to make good on a new reservation for 2021.

We stayed just one night at the Comfort Suites Airport in Tucson. It was nice to see some parking spots up close for gold and platinum members. We booked a non-smoking room. The room wreaked of smoke. There were all the fixings for making coffee in the room (coffee packs, cups, creamer, etc.) but no coffee maker! I mentioned it to the person on duty and he said, “wow, I guess the last people took it.” There were no blankets on the beds or in the closet. Breakfast was from 6-9. We went down around 7:00 and there was hardly anything left. No napkins, no cups, no danish (even though there clearly were some there recently). The coffee in the dispenser flasks had coffee in them, but it was ice cold (leftover from yesterday???). I asked the young man at the desk if he could do some replenishing, and he said “we’re out of napkins.” He went off to find more danish, cups and napkins and came back with the end of a roll of paper towels and some cups. Thankfully, they had some nice sausage, egg and cheese croissants to microwave. The microwave, however, had melted cheese all over the plate inside. The cranberry juice was actually water. The hair dryer fixed to the wall in the bathroom didn’t work, so I asked if they had another one. The young man at the desk checked and there was none, so I asked if there was another room I could get into just to dry my hair. He was nice enough to give me a key to the room next door. To my surprise, it did NOT smell like cigarettes, it DID have a coffeemaker and the hair dryer WORKED! Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Buen hotel.
