Very disappointed. Book 3 deluxe rooms with view but ended up get 3 rooms without view and very noisy at night . Shower with extremely 'Hot Water " and no cold water at all force to use bidet to shower. Breakfast choice not bad, good location. Photos attached was the view from room door.

Very nice place with a great breakfast and coffee/tea. Friendly staff. Got a good view from my deluxe. Prime location in the TukTuk peninsula.

The place is very nice and very suitable for a family holiday I always visit this place when I go to Samosir Lake Toba

The room is terrible... the wash basin are leaking big time... we ask to get another room because we are hurry... but the said no room available with the same condition (double bed) and mr Charles Tobing insisted to repair and reclean that we have to wait the person incharge... first the engineering to repair is consider quick but the one to wipe the floor to clean it took some times even when we write this they have not showed up... 🙏🙏🙏

This hotel really cannot make it. Rooms smelled mouldy. Plenty of flies/slug/ spider in the room, think I sprayed almost half a can of insecticide. Badly maintained furniture in the room. Toilet even worse, tap not aligned to the sink so it flows out into the sink top and out of the pipe under the basin as well. Mould surrounded the bathtub area. Limited breakfast option, pineapple served was already rotten. Hotel area not fully sheltered with plenty of steps which pose a big problem on rainy days. Steps into the pool are slippery. This is the 1st time I can’t wait to leave a hotel as soon as possible.

Samosir Cottage Hotel is a lovely hotel with magnificent views across Lake Toba. The rooms are very comfortable, the food is excellent (beware the really large portions when you order). Staff is very helpful, they even made sure i got a complete breakfast even though I had to leave very early.

The location and the view is beautiful, not so many nice and good hotel in this island; therefore, this hotel consider the good one. The facilities is average, except the swimming pool is next to the lake. Breakfast is average, don't expect to much. The view is great, especially from the upper floor.

Unclear hotel with many stairs. Room very basic with broken bed sheets and damp. Air conditioning does not work sufficiently. Television in the room with few channels. People with mobility problems should avoid this hotel. The hotel does offer a beautiful view of the lake. There are certainly better accommodations available.
