We were greeted with a offer of a glass of wine in front of the fire place. the staff was friendly and the rooms comfortable. The 4 poster bed was awesome and the linen great. The host cooked us breakfast in the morning which was excellent and share info about the wine estates to visit in the valley. The house is full of art and very homely

Warm welcome, fire burning, glass of red wine and a smiling dorothy. the room was large with a 4 poster bed with a awesome comfortable mattress. Delicious breakfast ion the morning and a awesome day of wine tasting and gourmet food. The dogs were friendly and the art amazing

4 ladies in the middle of winter, on an outing! Lovely place to stay, only complaint was the fact that the toilet was not enclosed or separate - fine with family, but not with friends!

Although I only spent a short time st Wittedrift Manor, I enjoyed the experience. The house and garden are beautiful and the facilities met my needs. I didn't have breakfast or use pool or the common areas, but I look forward to trying these next time!

We stayed in a place in Tulbagh for the first night which was so disappointing and was delighted when Carol said she could accommodate us for the second night of our stay. The rooms are beautiful - great linen and staff friendly. The breakfast in the morning was the best I have ever eaten - double yoke eggs, home made jams were delicious.

We had a great stay. The hosts, PJ and Carol, were amazing and made us feel at home. The guest house is beautiful and quirky, with lots of antiques and comfortable beds. We will definitely be back, best place to stay in Tulbagh!

A great spot to getaway and be yourself. The room was perfect with high ceilings and cool. Bed was comfortable and gave a good nights sleep. I loved the fact that all guest had breakfast together around the family table in the kitchen and the I joined the engineers for a braai one evening with the owner/host and we were all made to feel welcome. Will be back with my wife.

In Cape town for 2 weeks of meetings and was luckily enough to be invite to do a site inspection at one of the factories in the valley. I was booked in at Wittedrift Manor house and had a beautifull room looking over the swimming pool and social area. I excused myself early from dinner as i started to feel a migraine starting and wanted peace and quiet. When my light went off the guest around the pool switched off the music, quitened down and much to my surprise I feel asleep and slept well waking in the morning with no migraine. Was very confused in the morning when a guest mentioned to me about the loud music - rave - i think she called it - as I heard nothing and was back from dinner at 10pm. Best breakfast in the morning, Back to cape town and home

Spacious rooms with antique furniture and four-poster beds create a comfortable and cool atmosphere. Great swimming pool and beautiful garden, all combining to provide the ultimate relaxation experience. With PJ and Carol as hosts, it's hard to leave this incredible place because it's always filled with fun and enjoyment.
