Do not stay at this hotel. It is old with no updates. It is dirty. It is stained. It is moldy. I saw roaches on the wall. I have traveled a lot and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. I did write a letter to their corporate office with pictures. To be fair, I will point out the good things. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the air conditioner blew cold air and the shower water pressure was strong and the water was hot. Everything else was dirty and scary. Do not stay here.
Response from Property: Dear A5112AXandream, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay. We take these matters very seriously and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We hope to provide you with a better stay in the future. Sincerely, Hotel Management

The staff was friendly and helpful. Very polite. Decor is old, but having a kitchen, bedroom and living area was nice for an in-between house and apartment.

Made reservations almost 2 months in advance. Drove 280 miles 1way. Arrived and were told they could not provide our room. Manager claimed they had no way to contact us to let us know. BS!!! Room was booked through *******. Lied about a room at another motel. Called that motel and the room they had was not enough beds and $90 higher than told. Absolutely the worst experience I e ever had with a motel. Threaten to have us escorted out when we wouldn’t leave right away after being told there was nothing they could or would do for us.

Hello Everybody!!! We are having a wonderful stay at ESA (Extended Stay America) Midtown, here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Due to the prior 2 years of dealing with COVID 19 protocols and restrictions, and the subsequent explosion in house prices, my wife and I decided to remain here at this hotel for an extended time. The staff here have been fabulous in caring for our every need. Even during this past week, when you had several top events held here in Tulsa, including the PGA Golf Championship, which caused zero available rooms in the Tulsa area, the staff responded in an exemplary fashion. Of course, whether it’s airlines or hotels, Booking Agencies (not the hotel itself) are notorious for overbooking the different sites. I happened to be in the lobby and witnessed several unhappy customers who had no room available to them, many after traveling here from a long way off, just to realize the hotel was overbooked. So, the staff was under tremendous pressure to explain “Why”, “the customer insisted”, and what they were going to do now? I could see the hopelessness and helplessness in their eyes. But actually, it’s not the hotel’s fault. Having travelled worldwide and stayed in over 35 countries, I can see this issue is a systematic failure of the Reservation System, in that the Reservation System does not take care to ensure booked travelers are not stranded due to over-bookings. This System needs to be revamped to take better care of travelers so they will not be stranded because of over-bookings. Still, the ESA Staff braved the difficult language being thrown at them, and handled the situation in an extremely Professional manner. Once again, The Staff at Extended Stay America has gone over and beyond their normal call of duty to satisfy clients and ease the pain of a difficult situation. Great Job ESA Midtown! Jim H.

One thing that seems to lack in the hotel industry, including this hotel is providing information to the guests when checking in. When employees neglect to perform this important task it leaves your guests feeling slighted. Couple of examples, where to dispose of trash, hours when complimentary coffee is served, offering a luggage rack at check in to bring belongings in, (so important to have two racks available which this hotel only has one!!!!) There are many longer term guests that stay who have a substantial amount of belongings. Two luggage racks at best should be standard. The hours linen exchanges take place. Informing the guests of leash requirement for pets, indoor and outdoor on the property. Outdoor Trash cans, this property has one. Advising guests where to dispose of trash, and providing the means to do so and telling them why. Believe it or not people have to be told. What to do in the event of a fire or inclement weather. Avoiding the two emergency exits at either end. Strictly enforcing this because it sets the alarm off and is a disturbance to all. If the front desk people cannot provide this information then provide a checklist to the guests at check in. This hotel has some decent standard practices, but this aspect in lacking.
Response from Property: Thank you for choosing our hotel for your recent accommodations. We are truly sorry you experienced so many difficulties during your stay with us, and more importantly, you felt our staff was not as knowledgeable as they should have been. Our team takes great pride in delivering outstanding customer service to every guest, so we apologize that this was not your experience. Your feedback is important to us, and we hope you will give us a second chance to make a better impression the next time you are in the area. Thank you again for being our guest. Sincerely, Hotel Management

The Microwave in my room was old and didn't work well. Saw a bug, Cockroach, bedbug?, running around in the bathroom. The rooms were clean and well maintained the shower/bathtub, was nice and slip resistant, one piece epoxy I think

Checking in the clerk didn't know what she was doing . I handed her my ID. she pulled up on the Electronic panel my info, l paid with my bank card , she watched me the whole. She asked me to sign ..l did then it happened, she asked me again for my ID and said she couldn't find my conformation number , i showed she then l asked her for a receipt and what room number " a male customer comes up to the window. ..then all of a sudden she claimed l didn't pay ..oh no l said l opened my bank app, she claimed nothing was showing on her end " then l said you saw me pay and sign ..then she said to me in front of my granddaughter and another customer F'you then she said l had brain surgery ' l told her that not my issue and l dont know you ..She called a manager talking like i wasn't there luck there was glass between us. Due to getting curse out l calmed myself because they got my money and she was trying to charge me again she lied , just straight out tripping..l called ********* put my call on speaker l explained to the representative what happened to me..the representative wanted to talk to Allison that was her name . She refused to speak then she said i will give you your room. So i told the rep that she was giving my door cards ..l cant believe that happened to me and my granddaughter having to witness her grandmother being talked to and treated like that l will never go back there again..bad enough the trip more then 3 hours add an extra hour due to traffic delays on I35 ..
