J'avais choisi l'hôtel pour son emplacement entre Colmar et la montagne, mais j'ai été très agréabelemnt surpris par sa situation au coeur de la vieille ville de Turckheim, près de l'église et de la porte. L'histoire qui s'attache aux lieux se sent encore.

Tolle Katze, bequemes Bett, frisches Rührei Wir waren jetzt zum vierten und sicher nicht zum letzten Mal in diesem besonderen Hotel. Dieses Mal hat es mir sogar noch besser gefallen als sonst, weil es jetzt auch richtig frisch zubereites Rührei (aus echten Eiern, nicht aus diesem grässlichen Pulver) mit gebratenem Bacon gab, war super lecker. Bett war sehr bequem, es gab sogar eine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Sollte es in jedem Zimmer dort geben, wäre mein Vorschlag. Bad für Menschen mit Bewegungsproblemen eher nicht geeignet, da sehr hoher Einstieg in die Badewanne, für uns aber egal Am allerbesten war aber wie immer die süße Katze, die bereits im Salon bereit lag 😻

Hotel in een prachtig middeleeuws pand, maar wel met hedendaags comfort. Onze kamer was ruim en zeer schoon. Ontbijt was uitstekend met heel veel keus, maar dat mocht ook wel voor 16 euro p.p. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hotel ligt middenin het centrum van Türckheim met alle voorzieningen op loopafstand. Het enige nadeel vonden wij het tamelijk uitbundige klokgelui van de aanwezige kerken. Doe je de ramen dicht, dan merk je daar weinig van. Maar in de zomer met hoge temperaturen kan dat wel eens lastig zijn.

Nice hotel in a village straight from a fairy tale. The welcome is warm. The old hous is charming with lots of strange decorative items. Superb breakfast. Nice, clean big rooms.Worth the little detour if you want to make a stop in the neighbourhood of Colmar.

À very lovely hotel that reminded me the adventure novels by Jules Verne, in a truly lovely tiny town, full of history and good wines. All the people in the hotel have been so nice and helpful, the breakfasts were delicious (but one has to suffer the meat odors early in the morning!!!)

Als het op een hotel neerkomt is slaapcomfort voor mij een belangrijk punt. Laat dit nu net hetgene zijn waar dit hotel absoluut niet aan voldoet. De matras is van een lage kwaliteit. Het bed is vrij klein, zowel in breedte als lengte (ik ben 1m86 en stak met mijn voeten uit bed). De kwaliteit van het kussen is veruit ondermaats. De verduistering in de kamer laat ook de wensen over. De gordijnen laten zowat al het licht door. We hadden een hotel aan de straatkant: tegenover het hotel is een kerk, waarvan de klok elk kwartier luidde (ook tijdens de nachtelijke uren) wat de kwaliteit van de slaap nog meer negatief beïnvloed. Ondanks de inspanningen (er werd dagelijks grondig gepoetst), zorgde de keuze van het interieur (tapis-plain, stoffen behang,...) ervoor dat er enorm veel stof in de kamer aanwezig was. Het ontbijt was ok, maar niet wauw. Wel enorm veel lof voor de enorm vriendelijke (mannelijke) receptionist.
