Hotels near Piazzetta pedonale, Turin

We stayed 4 nights in this Hotel in May 2022. Paid quite a high price during those periods, possibly because of many concerts/matches and the fact not many hotels available around those dates made us choose this one. Temperature was around 26-30 degC during our stay. So the room was very hot. There is no fan, we have to open the window throughout the day to get some fresh air. However at night there were so much noises across the street, people were shouting, traffic, noises from the cars buzzing around really disturbed my quality of sleep. Wifi in the room was also very weak and I had always problems accessing wifi from my laptop (sometimes i need to be online to check my work emails/meetings). The room was also a bit old, interior is kind of dusty and maintenance can be done a lot better to improve the quality of guest stay. I came to Turin to watch a concert and expecting a calm/relaxed holiday. Had i known the situation earlier I would not book this hotel and choose rather calm, a bit outside of the city that allow us to rest after long day exploring in Turin. One thing that was good is the reception worker is very polite and tried their best to help us with information.

The service of the hotel is very good, the room is very clean, and the window is the square in front of the railway station. Shopping around the hotel is very convenient, just in the downtown area. There are also many shops nearby. There is a small Carrefour express next to it. The hotel is only about 1 minute walk from Xinmenhuo Railway Station. The breakfast variety is very rich, and the quality of the food is very good. It is a hotel worth booking.

Booked a double room, can be said to be the largest room in Italy, and on Easter holidays, the price of the first two nights in the early 1000, is very conscience! At first, I was very panicked, because the phone provided by Trip.com could not be reached. I asked the customer service later. I went to the phone to confirm the order. Here, the front desk English of this hotel is not very good. It is best to find a small partner who can translate Italian and then confirm the order. And a small single bed was added for free, and the hotel's breakfast was all free until 10 am. 🚗 Transportation: The hotel is very close to the downtown square, about 1km, so it is basically a walk to the city center attractions. 🍃 Environment: The environment is very good, that is, the shower room in the bathroom is not very well done, there is a seam in the middle of the door of the shower room, so the water will still splash out. Sound insulation problem... This European basic sound insulation is not very good

Great little hotel. I picked this place because of the reviews and was not disappointed. The staff are kind and thoughtful, and I appreciated all of my interactions. It's a simple little hotel in a good location for wandering the city. San Salvario (the neighborhood) is better for the evenings, with not much to write home about in the day time, but there are dozens of restaurants within blocks. It's about 15 mins to Piazza Castello (sort of tourist center of the city), and the walk is largely pleasant. The room (I had a room with private bath and a queen bed) was comfortable and a nice size. I did not see the dorm so cannot comment on that. I gave it 5 stars based on price-range, so note that this is not a ”5 star hotel”, it's a great budget option.

Una vantaggiosa offerta di Voyage Privè ci ha consentito di conoscere questa comoda soluzione per soggiornare a Torino. La nostra camera era un delizioso monolocale con camera e soggiorno/cucina divisi da una parete di vetro e un grande bagno con due box doccia e due lavabi separati. Tutto arredato di nuovo e con un grande gusto. Complementi d'arredo e biancheria perfetti, in cucina non manca niente e abbiamo molto apprezzato la macchina del caffè con varie cialde, le mini-panne, la possibilità di prepararsi altre bevande calde. In frigo non mancavano alcune bottigliette d'acqua. Ottimi i materassi e i cuscini. Bellissimo il tavolo in cristallo. Porta blindata, WIFI veloce e gratuito. Atmosfera elegante in un stabile della vecchia Torino perfettamente ristrutturato, molta tranquillità. In reception (aperta h 8 - 22) due gentili signore, efficienti e molto garbate: contattate prima del nostro arrivo ci hanno inviato informazioni riguardanti parcheggi e locali vicini per la colazione.

The hotel is diagonally opposite Dora Station. very convenient. Not far from the two train stations, a few bus stops will do. Buses cost 2 Euros. The front desk speaks English with Italian accents. We arrived late but the reception was still very nice. The room was clean, drinks in the small refrigerator and the price list was on the bedside table. When you check out, she will ask you what you drank, and then check out together. There are more types of hotel breakfast than other cheap hotels in Italy, and they taste good. There are many fruits, fruit salads, and green salads. There are more types of bread. Other toast cheese ham and scrambled eggs should be considered standard in the European buffet breakfast, and there is also a poached egg. Drinks, first milk and various coffees, orange juice. Yogurt and cereals. See a lot of family trips. There are also many Chinese.

A good place to stay and rest and explore the city. Restaurant and shop in the neighbourhood and proximity to the highway these are advantages. It's not that far away from the city center. I recommended it for business and private trip.

Come scrivono sul loro sito, stanno riammodernando l'hotel quindi vi sono i lavori in corso. Quello che non scrivono è che, nonostante ciò, fanno soggiornare comunque nelle due mansarde e che una delle due ”confina” con i ponteggi. Risultato: alle 14 del venerdì invece della pennichella abbiamo assistito in diretta ai lavori. Essendo pensionati, avremmo anche potuto dare suggerimenti....ma quando abbiamo aperto il piccolo finestrino abbiamo scoperto una bella cacca allargata di piccioni proprio sul davanzale. Ciò detto, la mansarda è anche romantica...ma il bagno è un francobollo, con il bidet incastrato tra la doccia e il water. Rotta per rotta, consigliamo l'eliminazione del bidet, così da dare più spazio a chi si siede sul water e utilizzare poi direttamente la doccia. Last but not least, il letto è posizionato sotto il muro spiovente della mansarda e se dovete alzarvi di notte consigliamo di dormire con un elmetto da minatore con luce incorporata. Il nostro era un soggiorno regalato, di quelli Smart box tipo Fuga di mezzanotte con colazione esclusa. Non sappiamo se questa soluzione di soggiorno sia il motivo di tanta scomodità. Forse bastava rifiutare il tutto al check in.....ma quando il giorno del check out abbiamo segnalato i disagi, la gentile signorina, pur scusandosi sentitamente, non ha ritenuto di ”scontarci” le due colazioni consumate ma ci ha promesso che avrebbe segnalato a chi di dovere tutti le scomodità elencate. E abbiamo detto tutto. Buona estate

The hotel was huge, as was the room. It was all very smart, but a not very cosy, however, it fulfilled our criteria as an over night stop whilst traveling for home, close to the motorway and absolutely loads of free parking. They have a pool but you have to pay extra to use it! They have a restaurant onsite, we didn’t particularly like the menu so walked about 10 minutes to an Irish Bar that served a huge variety of food. Breakfast had a large selection and was plentiful. Check in and check out was easy, all staff spoke perfect English.

Siamo rimasti veramente bene in questa struttura,camera accogliente,buffet molto ricco.Vicino al centro di Torino ma lontano dal caos del traffico.Ci sarà sicuramente altra occasione di tornarci.Ah....ho già detto che la colazione a buffet è pazzesca?😜
