“A way to feel at home, no matter how far home is”: questo è ciò che si legge sulla vetrata d’ingresso dell’hotel e posso confermare che è così che mi sono sentita, perfettamente a casa! Ambiente giovane e fresco dotato di sale relax con biliardino e ping pong a disposizione, sale studio con wifi e una comoda palestra. Ciliegina sulla torta la meravigliosa terrazza all’ultimo piano dalle quale si può godere di una vista pazzesca su tutta Torino e sul lungoPo. Conveniente rapporto qualità-prezzo, staff cordiale e disponibile per qualunque tipo di richiesta, last but not least design innovativo e creativo che richiama molto lo stile delle strutture nord europee, spesso essenziale ma studiato (lo si nota da ogni minimo oggetto brandizzato e dai copy accattivanti). Non in pieno centro storico, ma leggermente fuori (zona Vanchiglia) ma ben collegata sia a piedi (15 min) che con i mezzi, personalmente ho preferito la tranquillità e l’autenticità del quartiere pieno di localetti e ristoranti tipici anziché il caos del centro. La camera matrimoniale davvero funzionale, ben accessoriata, pulita e silenziosa, nonché moderna . Molto luminosa e non mi aspettavo uno spazio lounge con tavolino e poltrone così ampio non appena si entra in camera. Dotata di cassaforte, piccolo frigo e tutto il necessario per the e tisane varie. Insomma, assolutamente consigliato!

This was our third visit to this hotel and as always we enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival our allocated room was not very good but it was changed quickly and easily by the front desk staff. The replacement room was good and modern. The only complaint we have is that the shower cubicle is far too small. Large people will have great difficulty getting in and out let alone actually washing. Additionally the hotels location is good, being close the Porta Susa railway station. No need for a taxi. The restaurant across the road is recommended as is the Sushi restaurant just around the corner at the top of the Via Cernaia. Turin is nice city with not too many tourists and wealth of excellent places to see and places to eat at. We have been visiting Turin for 16 years as our son lives here - we love it. Una vantaggiosa offerta di Voyage Privè ci ha consentito di conoscere questa comoda soluzione per soggiornare a Torino. La nostra camera era un delizioso monolocale con camera e soggiorno/cucina divisi da una parete di vetro e un grande bagno con due box doccia e due lavabi separati. Tutto arredato di nuovo e con un grande gusto. Complementi d'arredo e biancheria perfetti, in cucina non manca niente e abbiamo molto apprezzato la macchina del caffè con varie cialde, le mini-panne, la possibilità di prepararsi altre bevande calde. In frigo non mancavano alcune bottigliette d'acqua. Ottimi i materassi e i cuscini. Bellissimo il tavolo in cristallo. Porta blindata, WIFI veloce e gratuito. Atmosfera elegante in un stabile della vecchia Torino perfettamente ristrutturato, molta tranquillità. In reception (aperta h 8 - 22) due gentili signore, efficienti e molto garbate: contattate prima del nostro arrivo ci hanno inviato informazioni riguardanti parcheggi e locali vicini per la colazione.

The service of the hotel is very good, the room is very clean, and the window is the square in front of the railway station. Shopping around the hotel is very convenient, just in the downtown area. There are also many shops nearby. There is a small Carrefour express next to it. The hotel is only about 1 minute walk from Xinmenhuo Railway Station. The breakfast variety is very rich, and the quality of the food is very good. It is a hotel worth booking.

We stayed here as a couple for two nights stay. We were shocked by how nice our room was at first glance, seemed very modern and had a cool balcony. However we soon noticed that there were loads and loads of ants on the floor, wardrobe, bathroom. We obviously told the staff who, when we went out, said they sprayed everywhere/surface in the room with I presume bug spray. This was fine I suppose apart from the fact that all of this spray will have gone all over all our belongings and our bed, which isn’t great. Some ants remained but they said there was nothing more they could do. The main thing you want in a hotel is for it to be clean (bug-less) so this was a real downer as we darent put anything on the floor or in the wardrobe incase ants got in it! We then got a visit saying we were being too loud when ironically I was writing a review on the last place we stayed whilst my partner showered, so we certainly weren’t being loud, not even speaking. Aircon was very loud, couldn’t keep it on all night as it sounded like a car, but at least it worked. Breakfast was fine, hot food looked horrible but they had yoghurts and juice which sufficed. Very good location!

Our room was amazing. Even though it's a hostel, we got a room far away from students, and they set up a special bed for our 5 year old. (We assumed he'd have to sleep with us.) It's a great place for a family, actually. There's a nice cafe downstairs, and board games. Everyone was super super kind, and remembered us... Roberto at the desk is a star! The room came equipped with a hairdryer, USB ports at the bed, coffee/tea, a safe, and little fridge. We came for Eurovision, and on the night of the Grand Final hundreds of us got locked out of Eurovision village because they had reached capacity. It was very (very) frustrating. That said, we watched it in our room with other fans, so for us this hotel really worked out, as we were even able to save the evening from disaster.

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to Porta Nuova, only a 10-minute walk. The hotel is within walking distance of all attractions. The hotel service is very good. Sara and Desire at the front desk are warm and thoughtful. The recommended restaurants and attractions are worth visiting. The room is clean, tidy and bright, and the bathroom is also very good. Great breakfast.

Doubletree Hilton Turin is located on the site of the historic FIAT production work. The rooms have very high windows (over 5 meters), the beds are very comfortable, the TV mostly Italian. The hotel itself is located outside of the city center. However, it is easily reachable by metro in 9 minutes. A metro ride costs just 2 Euros. A shopping center and two supermarkets are just one minute away as are a plenty of restaurants. The price is fair and much cheaper than in the center itself, where parking lots are simply unavailable (free at Doubletree Hilton Turin). I would surely recommend staying here.

Come scrivono sul loro sito, stanno riammodernando l'hotel quindi vi sono i lavori in corso. Quello che non scrivono è che, nonostante ciò, fanno soggiornare comunque nelle due mansarde e che una delle due ”confina” con i ponteggi. Risultato: alle 14 del venerdì invece della pennichella abbiamo assistito in diretta ai lavori. Essendo pensionati, avremmo anche potuto dare suggerimenti....ma quando abbiamo aperto il piccolo finestrino abbiamo scoperto una bella cacca allargata di piccioni proprio sul davanzale. Ciò detto, la mansarda è anche romantica...ma il bagno è un francobollo, con il bidet incastrato tra la doccia e il water. Rotta per rotta, consigliamo l'eliminazione del bidet, così da dare più spazio a chi si siede sul water e utilizzare poi direttamente la doccia. Last but not least, il letto è posizionato sotto il muro spiovente della mansarda e se dovete alzarvi di notte consigliamo di dormire con un elmetto da minatore con luce incorporata. Il nostro era un soggiorno regalato, di quelli Smart box tipo Fuga di mezzanotte con colazione esclusa. Non sappiamo se questa soluzione di soggiorno sia il motivo di tanta scomodità. Forse bastava rifiutare il tutto al check in.....ma quando il giorno del check out abbiamo segnalato i disagi, la gentile signorina, pur scusandosi sentitamente, non ha ritenuto di ”scontarci” le due colazioni consumate ma ci ha promesso che avrebbe segnalato a chi di dovere tutti le scomodità elencate. E abbiamo detto tutto. Buona estate

We chose Hostellerie du Golf on our 5 day visit to Torino for the tennis ATP Finals. The place is located 15-20 minutes by car from downtown Torino in a small village and is full of charm. An old style rustic hotel with big rooms, pool and lots of green areas serving also as club house for the very technical 9 holes golf cours I Ciliegi (the cherry trees). The hotel has everything you need and all personnel was very nice and welcoming. We aldo played 9 holes, enjoyed the shape of the course and struggled with its very technical design and with thr slopes and hilly shape. It was however very nice! The most pleasant surprise was however the restaurant where we had an excellent truffle based Piemontese specialities, all at a very high gastro level! It was really a gem together with a good selection of local wines. All in all, a very good price -quality ratio and a very good option to explore both Torino and Alba (the worldwide capital of white truffles) for those travelling with or hiring a car.
