I expect that children are considered as guests when Moomin theme rooms are sold, unfortunately not. Moomin room decoration was modest, restaurant buffet had no food for children and spa did not have children’s pool. Also location is quite far from Naantali Moomin world.

Hotelli on ihanalla paikalla mutta jo peruskorjauksen tarpeessa. Kylpylä ja huoneet nuhjuisia, ja tämän päivän palvelut puuttuu (esim. oikeat sähköautojen latauspisteet -nyt sähköä saa kiinteällä könttäsummalla/vrk piuhalla hotellin omasta tolpasta-, lisäksi telkkariin ei saa langattomasti omaa kuvaa jne.) Aamiainen hyvä mutta yllätyksetön. Loma oli kiva ja rentouttava, mutta samalla hinnalla saisi modernista hotellista huoneen joten tämä ei ole tunnu kovin kilpailukykyiseltä valinnalta.

The Ruissalo spa hotel is situated in a beautiful place on seaside. The hotel has rooms with a view to the sea. There are many nature walk routes to explore. You can rent a bicycle at the hotel. You can swim in a pool or in the sea. I recommend this hotel.

Rauhallinen sijainti luonnon keskellä. Kylpylän pesuhuone oli aivan liian pieni muuhun mitoitukseen nähden. Pysäköinti oli maksullista, mikä herätti ihmetystä täällä kaukana kaupungista, eikä operaattorin ilmoitusta hevin huomannut.

This is a "forest" hotel, however, one has to pay for parking. That is very bad. Breakfast is modest. Ruissalo is very nice place. You can go swimming in the cold see water. That is very good.

Not worth the price. The place is in need of serious renovation, but with Sunborn likely not going to happen (same situation at Naantali, another Sunborn spa). The location is a major plus for this spa, right by the sea, nice walking trails..

On a freezing cold and windy April day at Ruissalo we called at the Spa hotel for a warm meal while waiting for bus transportation. The restaurant was offering a buffet lunch with hot soup and we thought it was ideal for the occasion. However the staff were most objectionable when we asked for a table and in spite of there being an abundance of empty seats we were refused entry on the basis of only groups should be admitted. When asked for their definition of group - there were four in our party - we were ushered to the cafe counter where the only offerings were underwhelming and overpriced bread rolls and weak coffee. I have not experienced such service and would not recommend anyone to patronise the restaurant.
