I was here on the 31st of January 2024 and the person at the front desk appeared to not be happy working there, I sensed this as soon as I started talking to her. This is not the worst part, she scammed me of my money and here is the story: I booked online and she asked for a credit card for incidentals, I gave her a Visa card which should swipe, the card also has over 2000 USD on it and for some reason, she said she swiped it and it did not work, the next thing she asked me was to give her a card that will swipe, throwing my card on the desk at the same time. I asked her to try that card again because it should swipe and she said I could not talk to her like that. So I gave her a new card and she refused it. She said she has a right to refuse service and that she was refusing my service. I agree that she has such right so I asked for a refund, she told me to call the merchant that helped me book. I went ahead and called the merchant, the merchant told me they needed the hotel’s permission to issue a refund, they called her and she LIED that I did not have a card that works, despite insisting on refusing service to me and not taking another card from me, she decided to also keep my money without rendering any service. This individual( a lady) acts like a true scammer and I sense this is not the first time she has done that. Please avoid this place by all means. Do not say I did not warn you.
