Die Lodge wurde 1978 eröffnet. Die Lage ist hervoragend. Geignet für einen Stopover. Leider klappt es zur Zeit nur bedingt mit der Stromversorgung, was für Photo Safari Gäste eine Herausforderung ist, weil sie ihre Geräte nicht aufladen können. Speiseangebot Frühstück, Mittagessen, Abendessen Buffet Style Regionale Küche, Bar mit internationalen Spiritosen. Kaffee und Tee am Nachmittag als Selbstverpflegung Kleiner Pool hinter dem Restaurant. Rhino Bar im kleinen Park ebenfalls hinter dem Restaurant. Direkt angrenzend zur Lodge gibt es ein Wasserloch bei dem Elephanten, Zebras und Affen und Büffel vorbei schauen. Ein Leopard wurde auch am Abend gesichtet.

Review of Tsavo West National Park Our visit to Tsavo West National Park at ngulia was an incredible adventure! The park offers a mix of attractions that kept us engaged throughout. We explored the Shetani Lava Flow, an impressive black lava field with a unique landscape and fascinating history. We also visited the Mzima Springs, where we saw hippos and crocodiles from the underwater viewing chamber. The Chaimu Crater provided stunning panoramic views after a short hike, and the Roaring Rocks lookout gave us a breathtaking perspective of the park. We even managed to spot elephants and buffalos during our game drives. Tsavo West is perfect for nature lovers looking for a blend of wildlife and scenic landscapes.

Bellissima location con una pozza artificiale che attira tanto animali e di diverso tipo in diverse ore. Si può bere una birra godendo della vista di elefanti, babbuini, bufali e anche ghepardo: c'è una struttura dove appendono una piccola carcassa che attira i ghepardi. Vicino al santuario del rinoceronte: si fa un piccolo game drive nel santuario per vedere il rinoceronte. Cibo buono a buffet, cucina africana: pollo, riso, zuppe, verdure. Personale gentile. Unica pecca sono le camere, sono piccole con bagni piccoli e materassi sfondati, ma considerando che all'alba apri la finestra e vedi gli elefanti passare, va bene anche così.

Wir würden die Lodge immer wieder wählen - fantastische Aussicht, saubere Zimmer, freundliches Personal und ein Pool zum abkühlen Die Leoparden aus 50m Entfernung vom Essen aus zu beobachten war natürlich ein Highlight, ebenso dad Wasserloch , an dem wir den Tieren sehr nah waren

Wir waren erst skeptisch als Jemmy Reisen diese Camp vorgeschlagen hatte. Das Camp ist doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Zimmer sind ok waren eine Nacht da. Außenpool haben wir nicht genutzt. Das Camp liegt auf einem Berg von dem man eine fantastische Sicht in die weite von Kenia hat, man schaut direkt auf das Nashorn Reservat . Es ist auch ein Fernglas am Aussichtspunkt vorhanden mit dem man mit Glück die Nashörner beobachten kann. Das zweite ist natürlich die Leopard Fütterung. Da die Lodge auch über ein Wasserloch verfügt sind da viele Elefanten und andere Tiere zu Beobachten. Das gleicht die negativ Punkten von der in die Jahre gekommen Lodge aus. Das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal ist sehr freundlich wie überall in Kenia.

Loggia położona w super miejscu, przepiękne widoki. Zwierzęta przychodzące do stawu położonego przy loggi. Widzieliśmy słonie, bawoły, guźce. W godzinach dziennych brak prądu, jest włączany dopiero wieczorem i wyłączany około godziny 23. Obsługa wywiesza również mięso dla lamparta niedaleko restauracji, jednak nie ma gwarancji ze się pojawi. Super widoki z balkonów. W loggi brak klimatyzacji i tv, ale tutaj jeździ się na safari i podziwiać zwierzaki. Jedzenie dobre, obsługa uśmiechnięta. Na terenie dużo jaszczurek, wiewiórki i inne zwierzaki

Beautiful old lodge built in 1969 needs a few updates. First the positive - beautiful location with exceptional elephant, buffalo and leopard viewing. Awesome food. Room isn’t bad but new mattress and pillows needed. Mosquito net appears to date back to inception and doesn’t reach floor by at least six inches with holes in it. Definitely need a new net installed in rooms. Super great staff.

lodge franchement infecte ,chambre avec de l'air partout pas eau au lavabo, le matin pas d'eau chaude ni électricité et wifi entre 14h et 17h tout les jours petit déjeuner de gueulasse ainsi déjeuner et diner 1100e pour 3 la journée bandit et voleur sur toute la ligne a éviter absolument guide de connivence

We came here in june 2024 as we had heard about the leopard feeding program they have, and yes, they do put a bone out for the leopard to eat! The hyena also came by for the scraps after the leopard had finished.Which was amazing to see. It also has a watering hole that attracts elephants and buffalo. We were a party of 3 and were the only guests at the time so the attention we received was very good , the food left us a little disappointed. Our room was very disappointing as it appeared it had not been updated since the 70s, we asked to move rooms and they are all the same! Tsavo West is plagued with tetsy flys and other nasty biting bugs, so bear this in mind and keep covered up, we had to keep windows and roof closed on our morning drive as it was horrendous, tsavo east and amboseli don't have the bugs west does.
