⚠Warning to Tourists! Do Not Stay in The Resto GuestHouse in Udon Thani, Thailand. The owner and his manager monitors guest activities and movements constantly on CCTV. I suspect even my bathroom toilet has concealed hidden camera, as the room I stayed has a small hole on the ceiling.I highlighted to the owner but he did nothing, say nothing about it. Check your rooms if you still insist to stay there. There are lots of other better hotels and guesthouses to stay in the Vicinity. The owner is also very very stingy and calculative person. I tried to exchange my bath towel and floor towel for clean new towels by myself, but he and his chambermaids accused me of taking an additional new clean pillow case which was untrue. Such stingy and calculative person, how much does a pillow case costs? I can easily buy him a dozen pieces but he falsely accused me of only taking a new clean pillow case without even checking first. And this owner 3 times on 3 different occasions came knocking on my door , telling me that I should close my room door softly because of complaints, but then sometimes the noise not from my room door. But when I lodge a complaint against other guests who slammed their doors loudly, this owner and his manager did nothing about my compliant. I feel that this owner is Anti-Foreigner. Because almost all his other guests staying in this 1 Star guesthouse hotel are Thai people. The owner is Racist, Anti-Foreigner. I got this feeling because of the unfair treatment I got from this owner and his manager. Stay elsewhere! or if you choose to stay here, Check your rooms for hidden cameras!
