Freundlich und preiswert
Der Kains Hof ist ein nettes Landhotel. Trots daß wir in der absoluten Nebensaison dort waren und fast die einzigsten Gäste waren, wurden wir freundlich begrüßt. Auch das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut.
Die Zimmer waren sauber und bequem und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

Der Kains Hof ist ein nettes Landhotel. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut empfehlenswert wäre am Platz eine Kanne mit Kaffee bereitzustellen .Dem Koch würde ich empfehlen eine Kochausbildung zu machen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und bequem und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Auf dem Parkplatz müsste man schauen dass bei Regen nicht das Wasser stehen bleibt. Insgesamt 4 bis 5 Sterne

Das Hotel wirbt mit täglich frischer Küche und Wellnessangebot. Die Realität zeigte sich erschreckend anders. Vom Saaleradweg kommend musste ich feststellen, dass das Restaurant Montag und Dienstag Ruhetag hat. Eine andere geöffnete Gastronomie befindet sich nur im 10km entfernten Rudolstadt. Ich wurde im Außengebäude, eine Art Plattenbau untergebracht. Saune müsste erst angeheizt werden und würde 20Euro extra kosten. Hungrig vom anstrengenden und erlebnisreichen Tag blieb mir nur der Dönerladen im 2km entfernten Ort übrig. kommt man dann mit etwas im Magen wieder zurück aufs Zimmer, stellt man fest dass der Mülleimer ungeleert mit Zigarettenschachtel steht, an der Toilette Exkrementenreste sind, der Balkon ungereinigt und die Fernbedienung vom TV defekt ist. Zur Schau hängt aber im Schaukasten Biergarten geöffnet, täglich frische Küche. Das Frühstück am kommenden Morgen war allerdings reichlich, von der zersprungenen Käseabdeckung mal abgesehen. Fazit: Das sog. Landhotel eignet sich hervorragend als Bauarbeiterunterkunft und wir augenscheinlich als Abschreibungsobjekt betrieben.

This hotel is truly a wonderful place to spend a night or a week . The family owned facility is just perfect . Along the bicycle trail with great secure inside parking for the bicycles. The staff is really friendly and very helpful . There are two Chefs - one is Michael and the other’s name is ?? . Both are not only very good cooks but are excellent conversationalists and full of all kinds of historic information . The room was superb - we stayed in room #2 . All kinds of special decor and great yellow duvets. Bathroom was exceptionally clean and had toiletries. The food at the on-site restaurant was wonderful . A eclectic menu with Ukrainian Soups , German , Italian choices plus others . Price point was reasonable. The breakfast was also quite good . Met the owners the next morning and could tell that they had great pride in their hotel and wanted very much to please their hotel guests .
