Hotels near Kokura  Railway Station, Uji

The location is good, you can eat and shop nearby, and it was a clean and comfortable stay. Unfortunately, only the sofa was in poor condition. It was also nice that you could order room service for half the price if you got a member's card.

Why is this hotel? It's about 20 minutes walk to Fushimi Inari. To go to the first shrine in the empty time zone around 4 in the early morning, the land is also important. There are few parking lots, and the room is normal (business hotel level) I've been eating soba for two consecutive years (free) for two consecutive years, but last year was good ‼️ breakfast is hard and sushi rice is hard and complaining. I wonder if I will go on New Year's Eve ⁉️

Very nice, new hotel with a free bathhouse attached. The bath area is small with just two baths, but not complaining because it's free. No complaints about the room, it was perfectly nice and modern and was a little bigger than standard for Japanese hotel rooms I'd say. The location is fine but there's not in the surrounding neighborhood. It's a very short walk to Jujo station though and there's a bus stop directly in front of the hotel so you're not far from anything. The Wifi was very bad, it frequently went up and down like a roller coaster. This was actually the only time in the last several years I've traveling in which I've encountered iandequate hotel Wifi, I thought most hotels had gotten it together on that, especially newer modern hotels like this, but apparently not. Also should note that housekeeping only cleans rooms once every four days, they say it's a Covid safety measure but I imagine it's probably just a labor shortage thing. I also was made to pay a 200 yen per night tax on my reservation when I checked in, I imagine this is a prefectural or city thing which the hotel has no control over but it surprised me as I don't remember ever having to do that before in Japan.

Amazing stay, cheap, good bed and nice breakfast. It’s just right when your doing a night in each city to check out what’s on offer. Will definitely recommend and stay again when passing this way. The breakfast is simple but tasty and filling, easy vegan food and something for the meat eaters seeking protein. It’s close to the station and simple to get around.

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel, easy to check in, front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. We had a view over looking the train station and could not hear it. Morning breakfast was magnificent both western and Japanese breakfast selections. Like earlier station is across the street and a quick ride to site seeing area or back to the Kyoto station. Would definitely stay here again.

The facility was very clean, and although the lower berth of the capsule was a little creaky, it was quiet and neither cold nor hot, so I slept well. It says in the notice that cell phones cannot be used, but if there is no sound, the Internet is fine, right? I think. When I was in the common area, the men and women in the smoking area were making a fuss. (Unisex?) It's nice to have fun talking, but making a fuss wasn't appropriate. The washroom was crowded in the morning. There were only 4 and I felt it was too small for makeup. I wish the pajamas were one size larger. The lockers are narrow and can only fit shoes. When I was packing my things in the morning, a man suddenly entered the women's bed area and I was surprised. I wanted him to knock on the door and say, ”I'm coming in!” without opening it.

I stayed with my family for 2 nights for purposes. I chose this one near the station because of the location, but the room is a business hotel type and is by no means large. Is it kept clean? I couldn't deny that the equipment was aging, so I entered the room and there was a spot that was noticeable. Although it is 2 consecutive nights, the card key will not work at 11 o'clock the next day, probably because I booked one night at a time, and an error occurred. I asked the front desk to deal with two stories, but I went to the front desk again without apologizing and went to the front desk again. From the time of check-in, I couldn't feel the service spirit at all at the front desk, and it was clerical. This hotel seems to have nothing to do with that. Because there are usually more people cleaning the room for one night, the aunt uses the entire corridor to spread the used linen in each room, and it is difficult to walk in the corridor. The elevator is also occupied by a linen transport cart around 1100-1300, and it is difficult to get there. It's okay if you just sleep, but it feels a little expensive for that room and service.
