This a MP Tourism hotel situated on Dewas road. It is bang opposite another MP Tourism Hotel “MPT Shipra”. Excellent quality, big rooms, neat and clean room linen, bath accessories. Definitely worth the price. Curtains can be bit heavier for sun blocking. The inhouse restautant is purely vegetarian . Breakfast spread not lavish but okay. Table cloth in the restaurant were not clean. Staff was courteous. Wifi was good. Hotel is almost of three star quality. Highly recommended

We stayed for a night and the amount i paid (nearly for 2 couples) it was not a worthy experience. The hotel is located in a congested street, when you reach their you will find it more like a lodge. There is no lift, we were give 2 nd floor. I had brought elder parents with me and it was problematic for them to walk up to the floor multiple times in day. Room seemed like under-construction, ac's outer panel is missing, no trash bin, corridor was squeezy. We were given corner flat and there was door to the balcony which didn't get close properly and greatness was such that the corridor end door and our balcony door was connected. That means any one can enter from the balcony to our room. Great hotel i would say if it was lodge i would have never made such review. They don't have their own parking, pure plan where you park your four wheel as there are multiple parking lots and you might get confused which is the legitimate.

We stayed in Kshipram for a night, we are a family of four adults and two kids. The hotel is a basic no-frills property. Cleanliness was up to the mark , room and bathroom, both will clean. Our rooms are not together but on the same floor, so it was okay. We actually hardly use a room. Since the entire day we were out visiting temples. The checkout time is 10 AM and since the hotel was full for the next day, we had to leave on time. However, since our transport was only at seven in the evening, they allowed us to keep the luggage at the reception. Our room rate included breakfast. However, breakfast was not as per expectation. They had Paratha and poha available for breakfast. There was no other choice. Tea was very good though. This property is of standard on the average scale of 1700-2000 per night but I believe because it was a festive period of new year. We paid approximately 3500 per room. And that was only because of the high occupancy in Ujjain. However, the property doesn’t provide facility for the price they charge.

I recently had the privilege of staying at a hotel near the Mahakal Temple during my pilgrimage, and it was truly an exceptional experience. If you're planning a visit to the Mahakal Temple, you couldn't ask for a better location. The hotel is just a short walk from the temple premises, making it incredibly convenient for devotees and tourists alike. The Aroma Restaurant at this hotel was a delight after our Dharshan at the temples in Ujjain before heading back to Indore. Food was of great quality, vegetarian , service was amazing - Rahul Waghla who attended to demonstrated exemplary service and made our meal even more special. I would recommend this restaurant to all travellers who need a neat place to dine with clean restrooms too.

I booked room with breakfast and the only surprise was that if you book complementary breakfast, they offer only a couple of pre-decided items. Gives you a weird feeling and you eventually end up paying for it. My suggestion would be too book only room without any complementary meals. Overall a nice experience.

The location of Kalpana Palace is perfect. At walking distance from both the railway station and the corridor - it is very accessible - but so are many other properties. All of the Mahakaal lok is surrounded by hotels. Having said that - the hotel did have a good service - the breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and nice. Hot water was available. Staff was polite and courteous. We requested for an early check in and they said if rooms are available, they will make it available early - and they did. Do check the timings and the price. Year end times, the price is too much and we felt it was not value for money. At other times (and lower rates), it shd be fine. The traffic outside does make the rooms noisy.

GGuest UserOverall hotel is clean. Staffs are good. Guide properly about mahakal temple. The position of hotel is awesome. Gate 1 and gate 4 of mahakaleshwar temple is very close. All time hot water available in bathroom. Deluxe room is bit small. But for two people it’s ohk. Check in time is any time. Thats the best part. Restaurant is really good. Cooking staffs are nice. Have tasty food.
