Our 162 rooms are located on floors 6 thru 13 of the newly built Vaven Complex. We offer room sizes from small, medium, large to extra-large. All rooms face towards a panoramic window, ensuring that you will always wake up with a view of the city or the river.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by something totally different to a traditional hotel desk. You will meet our continental indoor square within Umea’s cultural hub Vaven, including the city library, bakery, cafes, deli, restaurants and a flower shop. An unconventional lobby and multi choice hotel restaurant all rolled into one.
The check in and check out is quick and easy at our digital check in counters (similar to ones used in airports). As you enter the indoor square you will find the counters next to the elevators, which after check in, takes you to your room. If you need assistance, staff can always be found, either at the check in counter or just a phone call away using the hotel phone by the check in counter.Show More

Lovely place to stay. We were there in February. -22⁰C outside, cosy inside. Clean room with large window. Breakfast buffet was excellent

Vi är så nöjda med vistelsen på hotellet. Vi blev superglada över att få rum högst upp emot älven efter förfrågan om att se älven från rummet. Ni överträffade våra förväntningar.

Gulvet mellom vinduene og sengen var ikke rengjort når vi kom..Men det ble gjort underveis mens vi var der.. Romservice fungerte godt alle dager...Ellers var vi igjen storfornøyd med hjørnerom med fantastisk utsikt👍...Den varme maten på frokosten trenger en oppgradering.. Brødet var av litt varierende kvalitet... Kjempeflott beliggenhet..med nærhet til restauranter, butikker og nydelig vandring langs elven❤️

We were on a road trip around Sweden. Check in was quick and easy with parking within the building which was very handy. Our room was very nice with a city and river view. The decor of the room was quite modern with a few different features to lots of hotels. The bed was very comfortable with a nice bathroom.
Breakfast was very good with lots of choice so no complaints.

Smidig dialog med personal inför ankomst, incheck, närhet till parkering, och all tänkbar service. Väldigt vacker närmiljö! Negativt var att inomhustemperaturen och upplevd luft var hemskt varmt och kvalmigt första em/natt. Fönster kan icke heller öppnas. Dock ordnade hotellets personal detta för dygn två.

Service typ incheckning fick man sköta själv. Fungerade efter lite try and error. Rummet märkligt med handfat i rummet medan handdukshängare i större omfattning fanns i badrummet/toaletten som i sin tur hade stor glasruta in mot rummet!. Inga garderober och få krokar att hänga kläder på. Mer designat och spejsat än praktiskt blir väl omdömet.
Duschskyddets montering som var rätt begränsat medförde att vatten både rann och stänkte ner på golvet där det fick självtorka i brist på golvbrunn. Torkades ej heller bort den dag vi hade städning.
Städning skedde om man så önskade inte dagligen. Argumentet att det spar miljön kan nog vara riktigt men känns krystat då det nog mest handlar om att spara på hotellets driftskostnader. Inte fel det heller men lite mer ärlighet hade varit klädsamt och inte gömma sig bakom miljöargumentet även om det må vara nog så viktigt.
