From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel special. The hotel was clean, spacious and the very best hotel we had stayed in! Breakfast choices were good but no bacon! lol We had our own kitchen area so we were able to cook our own meals (theres a Shoppers supermarket 20 mins walk away) The cooking equipment could be better as we had the smallest frying pan to use but we managed. The suite itself was more than we couldv'e asked for and as we had such a bad first night in Washington, we were happy. The hotel was a 10 minute walk to the metro that took you in to the centre of Washington which was great. We really don't have a bad work to say about anything!

The hotel was clean overall. Although we found a small stain on one of thethe comforters and a stand of hair on the bed. Although we felt a bit disgusted, we knew that this wasn’t a 5-star hotel and some minor inconveniences would be there. The bathrooms were very clean. We’ve stayed there twice. The first time we were given room #126 which was right next to the reception. You’ll hear tut doors open and slam shut the entire night. We didn’t get a good nights sleep. So beware of that room. The second time I specifically requested a room upstairs and it was a good decision. It was silent and peaceful and we all got a good nights sleep. So overall I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a decent place for a quick night cap. Keep your expectations a bit lower than a 5-star hotel. During our first stay, the staff who checked us in was ok. Wasn’t rude or anything. But wasn’t too customer friendly either. On our second stay, the lady at the front desk was super friendly and courteous. I really appreciated the fridge and microwave in our suite. Was very useful to reheat the left overs from the restaurants.
