I stayed in the Stitch Room! It was a very cute room with elaborate wallpaper and other details. The amenities were also plentiful.

We stayed here for as we wanted a Disney hotel for early park access to Disneysea and wanted to stay in the Donald Duck themed room. The room was as pictured online and had a few freebie themed amenities such as a reusable bag and cosmetics pouch but unfortunately smelt a bit musty. The other thing to mention is the corridors are so so long and if you had mobility issues it would be worth requesting a room near to the elevators. There's a little convenience store and a Disney merchandise store in the lobby. The hotel is well situated and had buses to the parks. We actually walked to Disneysea as it was only about 15 minutes away. Check in was easy and they kindly stored our bags whilst we were at the parks for the day. Overall I would recommend it mostly for the early parks access but felt the £350/night for the Donald room was quite expensive given it was musty and the other options available.

An Art Deco themed Disney hotel that still punches above its weight. Stayed here directly after two nights at Fantasy Springs and but for the new allure of Fantasy Springs, I’d have been happy to have done my entire stay at the Ambassador. The only downside is it’s a bit dated and has that musty smell. But there are plenty of great food options, the rooms and large, the beds comfortable and it’s really convenient having Ikspiari directly connected - particularly if you’re not doing Disneyland/Disneysea every day of your visit .

Stayed for a night with the family, the rooms are spacious and very nicely done. Great ambiance. Offers multiple restaurants and nice food options. And great shopping options as well. It’s very well connected to both Disney Sea and Disneyland.

The rooms were nicely appointed, we stayed in the Donald Duck room and the theming was subtle and not over the top. After staying in other hotels in Japan for a couple of weeks, it was great to go into this room which was quite large and spacious. Guest Services were great and able to assist us with all our needs (park tickets, luggage and transportation). Great location just at the end of Ikspiari, so close to shops and restaurants and within walking distance of both parks if you are keen, but the bus transfers are available anyway. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Loved this hotel. It’s not as well located as the two other Disney luxury hotels however it’s a really beautiful hotel to stay in. It has a retro feel and the rooms are very classy – slightly smaller than the other two luxury hotels but also this hotel is a bit cheaper. Offers Happy Entry

We stayed in Donald Duck Room which was fantastic because Donald Duck patterns were everywhere in the Room e.g. the beds, wallpaper, lampshade. The room was big for two guests and the amenities were great as well e.g. cosmetics bags, plastic mugs that could bring back home as souvenirs. As hotel guests, we could also enter the Park 15mins earlier on the next day, which was really a privilege considering how full the Park could be. I wish I have stayed more nights to fully enjoy the hotel.

This is not actually owned by Disney. The license is sold to a company in Japan, so you should expect that the service does not match a Disney resort. The front desk was very unhelpful and was not knowledgeable about all of the services or the hotel itself. It wasn’t until escalation that the manager could help with a timing issue and it turns out there wasn’t really an issue and he was just misinformed. The default answer for staff here is “nothing we can do”

We stayed here for my son's birthday. I booked in the Stitch room as Stitch is his absolute favourite Disney character. What an amazing spacious room, the detail was amazing and my son was in heaven. The hotel itself is gorgeous and very elegant, there is a mini combini inside along with a souvenir shop also inside. The hotel is also attached to Iskpari so plenty of options for shopping and or eating. We had also booked breakfast at Chef Mickey in the morning what a fun experience apart from lots of food eaten having Mickey come to your table and get photos with you is definitely an experience. Would recommend here.

We had an earlier stay at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and came over to Ambassador Hotel for a one night stay. The room is clean and Mickey/Donald Duck themed. It’s quite cozy and fits a family of 4 comfortably, I’d like to highlight to the management that staff needs to be better trained at service delivery. We stay at Disney properties often and the service rendered by your staff at Guest Services counter on 21 Dec 2023 at around 8pm came across insincere and nonchalant. I understand that it’s a long day as it is for us Disney park goers, but her dismissal attitude telling us to check back in the morning on luggage transportation (which is so common in Japan) to our next hotel at Shinjuku wasn’t helpful. Everything she said was check tomorrow on ‘house transportation’. It wasn’t about language barrier but trying to dismiss us as soon as possible (or at least that was the impression given). There is certainly room for improvement. Much can be learnt from your sister property.

We loved our stay here! The check in went smoothly and all of the Cast Members encountered were polite, helpful and friendly. The gentleman who helped us with the taxi to Haneda airport in the Ambassador Lounge really went above and beyond what we expected. We stayed in the Fantasia suite and we were surprised as to how big the suite was. The bed was large and very comfy, the kind that you didn’t want to get out of. Really good pressure in the shower and the bath was huge! We also had a view of Cinderellas Castle and Big Thunder Mountain with Tokyo in the background from our room. There was also a small balcony from the bedroom which was nice to stand and look out to Disneyland and Tokyo. We really enjoyed coming back from the park half way through the day to visit the Ambassador Lounge. The drinks and snacks there were included, so was a nice little rest to go back to the park refreshed. Breakfast was served in the Hyperion Lounge and it had a nice choice of food, a lot healthier options in comparison to the breakfast buffets in Europe and the UK. We used the Magic 15 for both DisneySea and Disneyland, it was really good as we managed to get to the Premier Passes for the most popular rides and shows, as well as queue for the rides we couldn’t get them for. Buses to and from the parks were frequent, so you never needed to wait too long to get to the park or hotel. We also used the monorail a couple of times. We really enjoyed our stay here and would happily return here!

PROS: 1. Located between Disneyland (1.2 km) and Disneysea (1.8 km), and connected to the Ikspiari shopping center, which offers a variety of cheaper dining and shopping options. 2. Has shuttle buses both to Disneyland and Disneysea, as well as to the airport with stops located just in front of the hotel entrance. 3. Rooms are clean and spacious (could easily fit a family of four) with a lot of amenities. 4. Guaranteed park entry to hotel guests, and happy 15 entry which allows you to enter the parks 15 minutes before its opening time. This is particularly useful in lining up for popular rides and booking premier access tickets ahead of the majority of guests. 5. Staff were polite and professional. CON: 1. Wifi was a bit slow (max of 20 mbps) and with fluctuating connectivity.

We stayed in a triple room which was spacious. Provided with pyjama, Disney themed bedroom slippers and eco bags! Can buy park tickets in hotel. Hotel has a restaurant, bakery, convenience shop and Disney merchandise shop. Free shuttle to Disneyland and Disney Sea. Near hotel were more restaurants and shops. Wish we knew that sooner!

Visiting Disney Tokyo again in less than four months because: - it was too crowded to fully enjoy when we were there last Christmas - it was Disney TOKYO's 40th anniversary on 15th April 2023! Reserved rooms at Disney Ambassador Hotel again, with some improvements: - Instead of a 4-bedder, we booked a 3-bedder instead. It was still sufficient for the four of us since we remembered from our last stay that the bed for the 4th person was simply the sofa laid with a bedsheet. The room's size and layout were exactly the same! - the hotel-provided laundry bag this time was made out of a much better quality material that truly can be reused for thousands of times, and yes, you can bring them home! - we were assigned to a room with a relaxing pool view this time, and it was probably quieter than our previous courtyard view since the pool was still closed because of cold weather and we witnessed nobody walking near the pool at all, unlike the courtyard. TIPS ON RESERVING A TIME SLOT AT CHEF MICKEY: - we missed visiting Chef Mickey since the only time slot available back then was undesirable for us, so we decided to reserve Chef Mickey earlier this time. It also helped that we got wiser since we found out that we could reserve the Chef Mickey time slot (via the "Travel Case" link on the "My Booking" page) RIGHT AFTER we secured the hotel reservation exactly three months before our check-in date. Non-hotel guests could only make reservations one month before their dine-in date. Finally got to meet Chef Mickey, but not the whole team of "Fab Five" available at Disney USA. GETTING THERE: - Previously, we had decided to splurge usd75 on the 25-minute cab ride from Haneda airport to the hotel, since we were on a red-eye flight and wanted to reach the hotel as quickly as possible. This time, we chose a flight that arrived at Narita airport, and realized that the spacious airport limousine bus was also very comfortable despite being an hour's ride (Narita is farther from Disney than Haneda). AT NARITA AIRPORT: - It was surprisingly easy to get tickets for the airport limousine bus to Disney Ambassador Hotel (you'll alight directly at the hotel's side entrance) since there were at least three counters selling the tickets at Terminal 2. The ticket seller also kindly showed us the berth to wait at, which was simply the very last one at Terminal 2. The only downside was that we had to wait almost an hour for the next bus. - Do note that the buses are only available during 9am to 6pm, so you probably won't be able to utilize this bus service if your flight arrives too late. - ALSO, many travelers arriving at Narita airport had been complaining about a human traffic jam i.e. two to four hours of queuing just to get past the customs. We were really lucky that we arrived at an off-peak hour (less planes landing at Narita at 4pm?) and got past the customs in half an hour. But you might want to observe the recent travelers' comments and factor the queuing time into you
