Misty Cave Hotel

The hotel is initially an authentic Capadocia buliding renovated to become a hotel on 2 months ago. Everything was brand new. We stayed at Standard room. Having a King size bed, authantic design and a fancy bath room television, air conditioning, base warming, fridge and television Location was 4 minutes drive away from Urgup city center. Breakfast was rich and delicious - A large plate Turkish cheese varieties, Olive varieties in 4 small bowls. Jam varieties in 4 bowls, morning salad, A plate of egg (in any type you would like), Slice of cake and Börek of the day. And unlimited Turkish Tea. Hosts were so polite, organized and careful for a covid-free stay. Price / quality wise its really good and definitely worth. Highly recommend to anyone willing to pay a visit to Capadocia
Oread Cave Suites

I prefer the overall feeling of Urgup than the hotel in Goreme. The weather is not on the hot air balloon, but it is also worth making up here. This hotel is the one I am most looking forward to and it is fully in line with expectations. The bedding is extremely soft. The room was clean and the walk was fine. The fur is very cute, I can't wait to take it back to the room. The pictures are taken by myself. Did not eat breakfast because of catching the plane, the boss got up in the morning to prepare us bread and milk to eat. I hope that tourists don't take a bath in the bathtub, first wash the shower and then go into the bathtub, otherwise the dirty things will be blocked in the massage outlet. When others turn on the massage mode, there will be dirty things floating out, even if the boss carefully cleans the room, Can't solve this.
Kayadibi Cave Hotel

The cozy boutique hotel is in the middle of a mountain with very beautiful view of Ürgüp city. Near this hotel, on top of the hill, You can see a breathtaking outlook of the whole city, and also explore some caves nearby. In general, the Kayadibi cave hotel is in the center of Ürgüp, which makes it a convenient place to stay. The rooms are clean, furniture is authentic and well maintained. The shower works well (no problems with hot water and water flow). Although it's summertime and hot outside, the temperature in cave rooms is just perfect without extra cooling. I’m glad to have stayed in such a hotel – it’s certainly extraordinary to have an opportunity to spend some time in a cave hotel! Thanks to the hotel owner I had a pleasant experience whilst traveling in Cappadocia.
Cave Konak Cappadocia- Special Category
4.8/536 Reviews
Cave Konak Hotel is a very clean, well maintained hotel, steps away from lovely restaurants and souvenier shops. After a tiring journey with delayed flights at every stage, we arrived in Cappadocia at 3.00 am. It was a pleasant surprise to come out of the airport and find Adnan, the co-owner of the hotel, personally waiting for us. We did not have the cave room and had the suite instead which was quite lovely. The care and attention that Adnan, his co-owner, Colleen, and their staff (especially Hashim) put into the hotel clearly shows through. The personal attention to detail, the homemade jams for breakfast, the recommendations for local restaurants and the suggestions for what activities to do; it was all much appreciated. There's only one reason why I gave the hotel 4 stars instead of 5 and that is Colleen. I'm hoping that Colleen is open to some constructive criticism. She's the classic example of someone who is penny wise and pound foolish. The fact that she asked for payment for a bottle of water we'd used from the minibar left a sour taste at the end of our stay at Cave Konak Hotel. When we could buy a pack of 6 two liter bottles of water at less than $2 at the local convenience store, it seemed petty for Colleen to ask us to pay for a bottle of water! Especially given that in all our travels, we've never come across a hotel where a complimentary bottle of water is not provided in the rooms. All the good vibes Colleen had built with us in the previous 3 days went down the drain at that point. To be brutally honest, if it wasn't for Adnan, I'd have rated Cave Konak 3 stars just because of that one incident. People will forget what you said or did but will never forget how you made them feel! And the feeling Colleen left us with as we were driving off to the airport was not a nice one. The hot-air balloon ride is a definite must. I'd do that again in a heartbeat. We thoroughly enjoyed the Green Tour in Cappadocia. I wouldn't recommend the Red Tour though as it just involved being bussed from one valley to another to see rock formations, with marketing stops in between at a leather showroom and a ceramic/pottery store (maybe it was just our luck with the tour guide we had for the day as he seemed rather uninterested and sounded like he was just regurgitating information that we'd already read online). The sunset ATV Tour was great fun and I would recommend it. However, we had an extremely scary experience when the brakes failed on the quad bike my wife was riding and the only way she could bring it to a stop was by ramming into another quad bike. It was either that or going over the cliff! The equipment was obviously not well maintained and we had the added difficulty of the operator/guide not being conversant in English. Maybe we should have done our own research and booked the tours ourselves rather than rely on Cave Konak Hotel to do it for us. To summarize, Cave Konak is an wonderful hotel. Just don't drink the water from the mini

Narcissos Cave Hotel

Excellent hotel. Great rooms and service by everyone. We were a group of 6 people and we stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Service by all the staff was good and the owner of the hotel is also super helpful in suggesting itinerary and in general a nice person to talk with. Hoping to stay for longer the next time we visit. p.s. This hotel is in a quiet village, so having a personal vehicle will really help
