Best Hotels near Kılıçarslan Gazi Türbesi, Urgup

The room is very clean and the facilities are very new. It is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in during this trip to Turkey. The owner can speak some Chinese and is very enthusiastic to help us solve many problems during the trip and provide a lot of help for our trip even though we are in a foreign country. We felt like going home. The breakfast in the hotel was also very rich and full of local characteristics.

I visit Cappadocia (solo) in June to celebrate my birthday. My hotel stay was amazingly amazing. The interiors of the hotel is so phenomenal and the breakfast gave me a feeling of a proper traditional home cooked Turkish breakfast. My friend called the hotel and informed them that it’s my birthday and requested to arrange a cake. The staff did the needful and made sure that I have a good birthday celebration. They assisted me with my all my needs and directions to nearby places during my stay. Overall my stay was satisfactory!

Before we start to describe this lovely cave hotel, we would like to thank our dost (friend) Illiyas or Elliyas (apologies is the name is spelt wrong). Whenever we shouted dost he would immediately come to our service with a smile and first class service. Even the reception staff cleared our doubts and the cleaning staff wonderfully arranged our room! The restaurant staff was amazing aswell. The options were endless and the room cozy too. We would highly recommended you visit the Kayakapi Caves for a once in a lifetime experience worth the price!

Hotel parking is very convenient, very suitable for self-driving tour, the room is very large, the room is big one small bed, one room and one small room, breakfast is OK, it is worthy of this house price, especially the front desk service is very warm, My language is not good, the little girl and my colleagues are tired of it, ordering a hot air balloon for me, asking the hot air balloon company repeatedly, and giving a lot of help. The hotel is beautiful it’s central and well located. It’s very clean. It’s an amazing experience to stay in a cave. The breakfast is outstanding, Ibrahim made our day start in a wonderful way every day. Service is outstanding as everyone is pleasant, friendly and helpful specially Arda who is professional and works hard to make sure the guests are happy and Ibrahim who does the same 👍🏻. There are beautiful terraces, where to spend your mornings or nights looking at the beautiful Cappadocia. I would definitely recommend this hotel the only thing I would improve is that in a room which was 605 there was no door between the bedroom in the bathroom so you had no privacy and also at night if you turn on the light, it would just shine on the face of the other person that was sleeping, so that would be better. It also has a little bit warm but they do provide a fan that makes it much better but it’s facing the sun is hitting on it for the whole morning and the rooms to heat up other than that I would say it’s an absolute gem.

If you're expecting a fancy 5-star with room service, spa, multiple restaurants and all the other creature comforts, Taru Cave Suites is not for you. They're a small, family-run business with ten rooms, so they don't have all those bells and whistles. What they DO have however, far outweighs what they don't – an authentic 'cave' experience balanced with just the right amount of modern-day comforts. We reached the hotel quite late and Daniel at the front desk was up, bright as a daisy, to check us in and help us get settled. The reception is at the top level and the rooms are spread across three levels down. The room itself was spacious with a cavernous (literally and figuratively) attached bath. A big, comfortable metal (wasn't sure if it was wrought iron or brass) bed, a couple of chairs and a TV assured us we were living in modern times. A huge balcony was the highlight (ours was the only room with a balcony). Sadly, it was raining and cold and windy, so we couldn't make proper use of it. There is no room service, nor does the hotel have attached restaurants. Of course, you can order in from the restaurants in Göreme city center (they have the menus in the room), but we chose to walk around and eat at authentic places close by. They do have a breakfast place where a staff of three makes fresh breakfast every morning. If it's not too cold, feel free to take your cup of coffee to the attached terrace and enjoy taking in the view. The staff is amazing – friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Special shout-out to Daniel (thank you for taking our calls at midnight just to tell us the WiFi password!) and Bahar (thank you for pointing us to the Apetito restaurant!) Would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed 3 nights and we would have liked to extend our stay. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly blended with the surroundings, located in a unique environment with views that will remain in our memory forever. The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The best thing about the hotel was walking through it, your imagination took you to another time. Breakfast was typical Turkish, fabulous and amazing. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive to any request, especially I remember Volkan who was at the reception, he helped us a lot with his explanations about the places we should visit explaining the reasons for doing so, he was a charming person for us. We definitely have to go back.
