Let me start I was skeptical while booking but when I reached here my stay was fantastic. Location: it is a wonderful location directly on the river and 4 minutes walk from railway station and bus as well as all the restaurants. Service: Christian and Judith provided the best possible service. Breakfast was the best. Free Wifi Internet was good Allowed to keep our luggage after checkout free of charge Overall I would love to stay again here!

This hotel is known for its garden and views, but other aspects leave a lot to be desired. In fact, the hotel was quite disappointing. The hotel definitely does not meet the standards of a boutique hotel, as it describes itself. - rooms are ok, conformable, but basic. - PREJUDICED treatment by the staff. I felt a huge difference in treatment between European and North American guests and Latin guests. I had never experienced this before in a hotel and I found it very serious. - It definitely does not work for long stays or as a base for exploring the Sacred Valley, precisely because it is at the train station. The place has a strong smell of BURNING FUEL, and there is TRAIN NOISE all the time. You wake up and go to sleep to the sound of whistles, which is very chaotic and unpleasant. - There are other much better options in the city. - It is about 10 minutes from the center, with a reasonable climb. And you have to wait in lines of train passengers to get into your hotel every day. - Breakfast is REPETITIVE AND WITHOUT VARIETY. Simpler hotels in the area had infinitely better coffee. However, it seems to be standard for the hotel, a jacket that other guests have complained about in past reviews and nothing has been done. They say they will improve in the responses to reviews and nothing has changed. - Professional staff, but IMPATIENT AND IRRITATED. They are resistant to simple requests. - I asked for computer at the reception to view a personal document that can only be accessed via computers. They did not allow me to use it, and there was no other available for guests to use. - A hotel of this value has no amenities whatsoever, only soap. There is no shower cap, skin moisturizer, cotton wool. I have never seen this in hotels that classify themselves as ”boutique”.

This was a great hotel for our vacation! First off, the staff was very accommodating and very nice to us. We had a problem with our hot water the first night and the staff jumped on the issue and put us in another room and insured we had hot water. It was a little cold that night and they hooked us up with an extra space heater that kept our room toasty the whole stay. The food in the restaurant was really fresh and the steak was made perfectly. We were all very impressed with the food!! The free breakfast was also delicious and they even made my eggs to order! The most impressive “above and beyond” moment, though, was when we were leaving. While packing our rental car we noticed a tire was flat. Luckily the car came with a spare but the flat tire was stuck on the car. We were going to have to wait hours to get help. The hotel staff brought over a hotel maintenance worker who was able to free the tire and put our spare on for us. It truly saved losing a whole day of vacation and I was so grateful. This above and beyond service is what you hope for in a vacation and they delivered. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

The Sacred Valley has many hotels but would suggest none to match the location of the Casa Andina Valle Sagrado....... beautiful, relaxing and welcoming. The rooms are well laid out and spacious and provides a great nights' sleep ...... incredibly quiet. Restaurant and bar areas have a relaxing feel and a varied menu to suit all palates. Bar area with log fire a great way to relax after a busy tourist day ...... Carlos an excellent host. The Staff are a major reason our stay was so enjoyable ........... Javier on our arrival and throughout our stay was a great example of how the staff react with their guests. Highly recommend the Casa Andina Valle Sagrado for a visit to this wonderful part of Peru.

Good environment, good location, you can take the train directly to Machu Picchu at the hotel. The room is large, with Walk In Closet. Good service.

We are a family of four traveling with 2 young adult children. We spent two nights at the Amaru Valle Hotel in July 2022. What a magical, fairy-tale like place! There are around 30 accomodations in a series of alpine style buildings scattered across the grounds. Ours was perfect - four beds in a spacious room with a view of the mountains and a very nice bathroom. The grounds are lovely with gardens, cobblestones, and views of the mountains. The staff so friendly and helpful. A lovely breakfast of eggs, bread, fresh fruit and coffee/tea is included. The place is located a short 8 - 10 minute walk from town housed behind a large wooden door. Our room for 4 was very comfortable and reasonable. Highly recommend!

This is a peaceful hotel in Urubamba in the Sacred Valley, about 10-15 minute walk into the town, restaurants and shops. It’s a beautiful setting, surrounded by mountains and with pretty gardens. The reception staff are very helpful. For what is described as a four star hotel, the rooms felt a little small, dark and sparse, but maybe that’s the point of an ex Monastery. We felt they could have provided more outside seating in the gardens to take advantage of the setting.

Beautiful Hotel and Spa located off the highway maybe 1km down a secondary road in a lush valley. Incredible setting and was our wind down from hiking ruins including Machu Picchu. Special shout out to Gualberto who greeted us at breakfast by name every day! The Spa was very Zen and the gym great for morning workouts (stretching-weights-treadmill… plus lots of Life Fitness equipment). This property has large grounds to stroll plus other unusual amenities including a museum and movie theatre (6-10pm). Some great drinks in the Bar which we also ate at. Indulge yourself and spend some time here; a great base for touring and relaxing!
