OmBodhi Retreat

Ombodhi is a retreat in its true sense. We spend four days with our family within that beautiful property full of lush greenery around and breathtaking view of the sea. The support staff was very helpful to accommodate all our needs. The food is very good and cooked in homestyle way. The whole area is very clean and they have a dedicated team of ladies ensuring the same. Lots of areas for kids and team activities during seasons. The rooms are aesthetically designed and supportive of the nature around. Their private and pristine beach was a huge draw for us. We have decided to come back to Kumta again and stay with Ombodhi Retreat. Thank you each one of you who are part of that group. Wishing you the best.

The place is magical, you have a private beach access you can go in and out, each room has a and wash outside for you to wash yourself so that you don't ruin your room with sand, they provide drying racks as well in each room for you to dry your beach wear, their kitchen serves continental as well, the property is big and well maintained, staff is courteous special mention to the security guard who not hesitantly opens the gate at any time you come, doesn't complain doesn't make you wait long. The room is very nice near, bathroom is big enough and is modern. Drinking water is clean you need not buy from outside. Only complaint I have is that we were made to wait 1.5hrs for our room to get ready as the previous occupants did not check out in time. So I'm not going to put that on the resort Overall it's a 5/5 experience

Fantastic place to stay. Right on Kumta beach. We stayed here for 2 nights from 28/11/24 to 30/11/24. Everything about this property is nice. The room we stayed in was the best available type, seaview cottage. However, view from the room balcony was obstructed due to trees on front. As a room it was very nice, large, decent toilet, very good shower, linens towels spotless. No complaints at all. Expect other rooms will be equally good. In case your budget is a bit tight, I would recommend other rooms in this property which are much cheaper than the one we stayed in. Breakfast is not included in room rent and is available in the beachside restaurant. The beachside restaurant is good, food quality is also good. All the staff are very hospitable and decent. The property is right on the beach,and the restaurant is on beach itself. Kumta beach is secluded, clean and still virgin in nature. Sunset views are awesome. Loved staying and dining here. Very much recommended for staying and relaxing. Good weekend retreat for those staying in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune area.

Nice property but the hygiene could be better. Pros. 1. Located at a very beautiful place. The property is spread across large area. Not at all congested. Ample parking space. 2. Enjoy your meal/tea/hi-tea just on the sea shore. The beach is clean with a life guard person watching. 3. Staff is friendly. 4. Food is nice (we ate vegetarian food, not sure about non vegetarian). Cons. 1. Property is large but not so well planned. 2. Food and stay is a bit costly. 3. Food/restaurant service is slow. It takes long to get your food/beverage order prepared and served. This was unexpected considering limited guests /visitors.

It was a very comfortable stay, liked the ambiance, rooms were neat and clean, staff was friendly and helpful.
