Overnight stay for Theatre Very welcoming and loverly accommodation in a great setting. Perfect for our trip to the theatre in Hayes. Enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant. No breakfast in the restaurant as doesn’t open until 12 but cereal, croissant, and yoghurt provided in the room which suited us.

A calming stay on the canal so close to Heathrow We didnt realise our accommodation was going to be actually floating on the canal. Sometimes you could feel the movement of the water. Unfortunately you could also hear the residents of the two adjoining properties also moving about, using the bathroom etc. If you are a light sleeper, ear plugs would be a good idea. It had everything that we needed and we ate 2 nights at the adjoining pub, The WatersEdge, which was lovely. Very friendly staff. It was lovely watching the ducks, birds and the world go by. We walked around Little Britain Lake where there is lots of birdlife. Also just a 20min walk along the canal path to Tesco. Lovely calming area doesnt feel like central London. Only 15mins in a taxi to Heathrow airport (£23.80).

Great little place, will happily visit again We booked the Honeymoon / Junior suite for 2 nights, it was lovely, just as the pictures showed. The view from the room was an uninterrupted view of the canal and was delightfully peaceful. You step straight out on to the edge of the canal and in to the garden of the pub, which is great to sit and enjoy the sun and passing barges, boats and wildlife. The food in the pub/ restaurant is very good and very reasonably priced. We happened to be there fore the hottest days of the year to date, so the lack of aircon was a bit of a shame, but the owners do go out of their way in setting up fans in rooms which are very welcome. Be mindful though, if you are booking for a Saturday night, the will be music playing loudly outside as the pub is a local hotspot, this does finish before midnight and you are warned by the owners in advance of your stay. We received and email regarding this and a follow up phone call.

Craig and Linda Whitworth Stayed down for the weekend for a wedding......felt a little guilty for taking so long getting ready as the cleaners couldn't get in for us..... i shouldnt have worried......they were great. Also everyone great next day after a lay in.....overall really enjoyed it......food was nice too.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is perfect to stay before an early flight from Heathrow, being only 15 minutes from terminal 2 long stay. The room soon warmed up when the heating was on and the shower room had underfloor heating to keep it warm. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. There are tea and coffee making facilities, packets of cereal, croissants and fresh milk in the fridge. Ideal for a quick breakfast in the room.

I can say the food amazing...Staff friendly and as I was a female staying alone with my assistant dog one member of staff gave me her personnel number to call if I was worried. Georgia So can't thank her enough put my mind at rest. All staff was so friendly can't fault them. Room junior suite wow what a lovely room with canal view big clean spotless. Grateful for bottle water in fridge and milk. Cornflakes but not fan of croissants cold didn't like them. Thought they did cooked breakfast but told only on a weekend. Needs to be amended in deception bit misleading. Now I would have marked higher but I had the worse night sleep ever in this room..There was constant noise from the wall sounded like a loud generator it was so loud no joking for £110 stay per night I would have expected to sleep...I was going stay another night as already told them but so glad I paid for just 1 night in cash..So not committed to the 2nd night..I was so tired miserable, freezing cold even when got home full heating on where I was so tired from no sleep my whole body almost shut down on me. Being a diabetes suffer and COPD with other medical issues I really did suffer from no sleep..Not to mention dangerous driving myself home. Such a shame because everything was really nice...I would stay again but not in same room with that noise never.
