Hotels near Wilhelmina Towers, Vaals

I loved the location. Not a bad walk from the train station and heheh you are just at the edge of the good stuff- an old German restaurant next door, the Cathedral a block or 2 around the corner. The bar wasn’t as appealing as some as the other Motel Ones I’ve been too- a little more business feeling. But I’ve come to love the color and decor scheme of this chain. Always super quiet and serene.

I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like about this hotel or location insofar as location, cleanliness or staff. In fact, the breakfast was so far superior to ANY Hampton at home (in US) as to be comical. Huge assortment of choices. The room was huge, quiet and very clean (think floorboards, bathroom tile, and closet!) Alas, they have (unfortunately) adopted the US practice of using COVID to cut costs. There is apparently no housekeeping on weekends, so they put a cart out with supplies. Give me a break. The ersatz fireplace in the lobby is silly and the sliding bathroom doors at European Hamptons continue to annoy. But overall, a very superior product

Hotel Brull is located in a nice small village between the hills of southern Limburg and a great starting point for cycling or hiking through the area. The exterior is amazing, with 3 different terraces, so always sun and a nice view. The people from the hotel are super kind and helpfully. Breakfast was more then enough, and eventhough we had to deal with corona measurements it was possible to eat at your room or outside on the terrace. We had a Deluxe room which was spacious. I've read complaints about rooms not being sounds proof but that was minimal. The building is dated from 1700 something, so we call it (sound/noize) the charms of such a historic building! We stayed for 2 nights, the room for 3 was basic but very spacious, comfortable beds, how ever the bathroom area has no door, the wc and shower both have a glass door that you can totally see through, and hear everything, very embarrassing! The hotel is very big and the food is great, breakfast, dinner, drinks- all nice and not too expensive. The service was not good, our room wasn’t ready when we got there, and when we finally got to it, the third bed wasn’t ready (no towels too), the breakfast payment was very hectic, and finally when it rained they wouldn’t open the gate for us to go in the parking area because “the parking is flooded “, after 5 (!) calls on the intercom, we managed to drive in and found a small puddle, not even close to a flood (our other car wasn’t even wet!). It was really stupid and rude and just unnecessary.

A beautiful building had a great and royal economic room, good shower facilities, staff at the reception were present, asked for a water cooker and immediately asked if we wanted cups and tea bags. We could be equipped with the Dutch Mountain Trail from here again.

Service was good. Rooms complete. Breakfast was well cared and wide choice. Unfortunately we had the room above the Irish Pub. That's nicely useless. Until 4.00 hours no eye closed. Despite windows close to ventilator, no airco, and was very warm ....These rooms above the pub should actually be used nudity ......

In Heerlen you got several options for a hotel , if you are in need - whenever I can I will go for the Kasteel TerWorm ... been here before , and I think I will be there again ... So arriving before noon is typically not the best at any hotel, no difference here on the topic - the lady at the reception was kind and get me the key and all the forms - but she asked me kindly to wait till my room will be ready - I went for a walk in the garden and surroundings , you have some picks attached to the review. Room was at the ground level in the courtyard building, room 14 - I got - and it was very clean , spacious and with a good size bathroom that had a tub and a shower - depending on what you want. Bed was comfortable - the minibar for free .... breakfast - a nice selection of buffet, eggs, meat , etc ... so everything for everybody. To distance a bit customers you could choose breakfast till 9 or after 9 ... so to split a bit the guests. Outside my room - I had room 14 - there were 2 chairs at a table and a decorative bush in that bush a duck was nesting between the branches - such a nice thing. Overall I had a very good stay - with helpful staff and a very good hotel experience and for sure if I go to Heerlen again , I would choose the same hotel for my stay. I recommend you try it and if you don't like it just blame it on me .....

Excellent! We arrived a little early but it was no bother and we were checked in swiftly by a very kind and professional receptionist; she was very helpful too with a great sense of humour. The rooms are very nice, big and clean and the bathroom is big, with a choice of shower heads and a separate bath. The breakfast buffet offers A LOT of options and I was impressed, it would have been perfect if they’d have served vegetarian sausages but that’s me being incredibly picky. Check out was swift plus you can also check out online or leave your keys in a drop box. There is ample parking and the location is very good as you are just off the motorway between Belgium and Germany. We booked directly with them so they offered us a little treat which was super nice. I thoroughly recommend this hotel; the parking, rooms and staff are very, very good!

This is the best hotel if you come to cycle in Limburg. You can park your bicycle well and safely. After checking out you can still go for a nice ride because there is room to store your luggage and there is a shower room. In short, this is the ideal base for a training camp in Limburg.

The grounds and buildings of this property are breathtakingly beautiful, like a film set that could never be real. The staff exude an air of formal, graceful professionalism. The surrounding region (drive the rural route to Val Dieu abbey) is comprised of mile after mile of impossibly beautiful agrarian hills and valleys dotted with perfect little towns like Teuven. There is a quiet restaurant and bar at the Chateau but the town of Valkenberg just up the street has a collection of livelier bars and restaurants. The buffet breakfast on the property is excellent. Visitors accustomed to the speed and sharp edges of modern life will need to adjust here. Time seems to move more slowly. Our rooms were gigantic, bigger than many apartments and the attached patio overlooked an orchard. The small kitchen had an oven/microwave, electric range and small refrigerator. The furnishings, however, were from another era. They were in pristine condition and comfortable and staying in the room was a step back in time by about a century. Not a complaint at all. Miles of nature and cycling trails start and end from the chateau that apparently sits within a wildlife preserve. The region appears to be a hub for competitive cycling and roads leading in all directions are calling to be ridden. Stay here, breathe the fresh air, wander through the trails and art installations. Turn down the speed of life. Don’t expect to come here for a dance club, fitness center or urban experience of any kind.
